I LOVE your first journal with the spiral binding! Yes, I, too had a spiral binding machine that I took to school and every student, at the end of the year, got a spiral bound notebook of their writing and art from the year! I had it until one student broke it and that was IT. Now that my old hands are so arthritic, I think I'll be saving up for another one so I can make my journals this way!!!!! And, yes, organizations DO still send out mailing labels. I just got a whole bunch from The Wildlife Federation! YAY! I personally don't like the travellers' notebook sized journals...just not enough room for me to write in. I LOVE the 10x8" ones, even the 11x9" ones which I make for my personal journals.
