The hybrid mss system looks interesting, on our roads, the theory of a twin rate front seems clever, but after your comments I think I’ll just wait for tractive to release their full coil over - I had those on my f80 comp, brilliant setup and voodoo dampening, just a shame the f80 had so much nvh it distracted from how great the dampening was on our b roads

Little confused with your first step up for the MSS you dont have a PU seat so that may be why you had play...My mate has the MSS Hybrid on his G81 lowered the car lowered up to 50mm and the handling is 1st class we came back from Bimmerfest I was very impressed he got it after watching the Evolve Video and that Green M2 G87 with the crazy mods I believe that MSS is a technical product and many people install it incorrectly my local shop sells MSS in the UK and you will be shocked the mistake people make and that the product is no good. I have it on my 911 GTS and trust me it's a really nice kit and I would never change the Hybrid kit I have double-sacked front and rear comfort and performance. The last thing when I first got the kit installed after it settled on the rear one side settled 8mm lower than the other which made the car drive a little funny once I took it to the shop and they levelled out the rears 10 months ago it's been excellent the reason for the uneven settling is that the corner weight on the car is different at each axle but most wouldn't understand corner weight. For me, my car is over £100k and I do not put any foolishness on my car MSS quality is good and with a lifetime warranty on parts none of the other offer that so that should say something.

Yeah, I had the PU seat installed correctly. I just didn't show it the video (my bad). I'm a qualified (ex) mechanic and have installed many suspension kits. I'm pretty sure it was installed correctly. As I said in the video, I believe MSS have made some changes to their kit since I first installed mine, which suggests I'm not the only one that had issues with them. Props to them for updating the suspension kit, but too late for me to give them another try. I'm really happy with the AST HAS kit. No need to change as far as I'm concerned

@@AussieG82 Before I found a good workshop that knew what they were doing a few guys installed my kit on other cars incorrectly and they were qualified I have come to the conclusion that many people dont read the instructions correctly and when things go wrong they say it the kit...it would be good in around 9 -12months you do a follow-up video to see how well those new springs are holding up and if you still have the same opinion after they settle

@@DefinedImagery perhaps the Porsche kit is just a better kit. Ive had these AST's in my G82 M4 for 6 months now. No issues thus far
