Question: I own the Shimano technium mooching in the medium light 10 “6 for salmon, it’s to much for the smaller lake trout Looking for around 8 foot medium light Rod for down-rigging, What would be your two top choices that would give me a similar or closest feel to the technium rods?

Hey! Question for you? I’m new to trolling. And want to troll for salmon . I’ll be trolling out of a kayak using a dropper rig, anywhere from 4oz to 16oz lead cannon ball weight pulling flashers, dodgers, and spinners. I really like the 7’ Shimano Talora rods. Need a rod that will handle up to chinook. Which one would you recommend? Thanks,

Give us a call in the shop to go over the options for the kayak. We're happy to help.

Wish you would’ve explained that you put a baitcaster on these rods! Not even Okuma’s website explains that! Haha
