I started playing WoW in 2019 and I wish there was a video like this at the time to have helped me out. It's clear, it doesn't overwhelm new players, and it gives players a chance to actually see the classes in action as well as how the armors look. It also explains some terminology that other guides and players use a lot (like "proc" and "glyph") but don't explain, which is super helpful for new players. Thank you for making this great video!

That is awesome to hear =D The "interesting" thing about WoW is that you get weaker while you lvl up. Sounds confusing I know. So to better understand when you are lvl 10 you are stron af because of the messed up scaling the higher you get the weaker you get until you hit lvl 60. Between 60-70 its normal and when you hit 70 (max lvl) you are strong af when you get some good gear.

My personal recommendations: For first time MMORPG players and/or ranged DPS enthusiasts: BM Hunter For people who want an easy tank to start with: Guardian Druid For melee DPS enthusiasts: Fury Warrior First time healers: Resto Druid or Holy Priest If not, pick whatever you want, experiment and experience your class and spec at your own pace, eventually you’ll get the hang of it.

I started as a destruction Warlock but only play healer now, my Mistweaver Monk, who will often be in your backline disrupting your healers and pushing CC hard while we focus someone down. Good DPS players are plentiful, good healers and tanks less so and worth their weight in gold. Our guild need a 2nd healer to complement our existing godlike one and I found that my effect on whatever I was involved in was much higher from a success point of view. That comes with time and experience which to any new player will happen in time naturally as you play more. Try out a few different alts and don't worry about meta, play what is fun for you and has you enjoying yourself, that's the key.

I got a few toons. But lately enjoying warrior the most. Just something about being a simple dwarf soldier in plate armor .Especially fun if you keybind skills on buttons close to WASD like TRFC. Keeps your skillbar tidy and still plenty of room for buttons 123456. Don't forget your extra mouse buttons

This is good for a beginner perspective, but saying that Arms is easy to play is crazy. It is by far the hardest melee spec to play at 100%. The rage management and charge weaving during a difficult mythic fight is only really matched by ice fury elemental Shaman and some iterations of fire mage.

Restoration druids don't lack attack power compared to other healing classes. If you work your stats right you can heal just fine without using tree form over 90% of the time and can just jump into tree form when needed. When not in treeform you can cast many of the damage attacks of the Ballanced class, including the massive AoE attack. True the damage is not nearly as impressive as when in Moonkin form... you should be able to out damage most dps on 5 man dungeons until bosses. This is more advanced gameplay but it's not hard either.

@@Vitnir I really haven’t found a main I still have no clue what I’m really doing haha there is just so much happening I made a bunch of characters all different classes I went for the ones I like the look and feel of first like pali and warrior then branched out to hunter then priest and then demon hunter and monk. I have no idea what the right answer yo any question is but hey I’m learning trying solo queuing into raids getting my level up doing missions meeting cool people. I really like the game my only problem is that sometimes classes feel way to complicated from all the things you must do from learning the most optimal rotations min maxing every piece of gear downloading 100 ad ons and all that just to be useful in a raid etc. but with work being well work I have taken a step away from the game I plan on coming back soon it’s just that life is lifing atm I’d love to talk to you more if you have the time.

Unholy dk has a high ceiling in pvp or in general. Still, you should always pick the class you know you'll like more. I wouldn't play druid over rogue if one spec ruled the other because I don't like druids, but still get to flex playing sub rogue optimally. It's give & take. Fury warriors for the most part are quite easy to play. Their gimmicks are mobility, fast paced dps, short burst cds. Idk about dragonflight but it's been true for years.

41:30 Min.: I took the Path of the Holy Priest Since Season 2 Schadowlands. I start play Season 2 BfA and start as a Beast Mastery Hunter. Then i Rerole at the Holy Priest at the Same Season only 2 Rerole Again at the Prot Paly, then Season 1 SL my new Guild Froce me into the Retri Paly and then Season 2 SL i found my Home Finaly in the Holy Priest. I mean PI is a sutch OP Spell and i be realy happy 2 have it and i hope that. I play 2 help outhers 2 heal them and make them happy. I be a selfless person that love it if outhers be happy and say that they like my pi and make dmg and be happy that they can destory everything with my help. :3 That they can let there inner child out and have much fun. Im so happy that PI is in this game and i dont want 2 play a outher class because i want 2 play a importent role, want 2 be some once that needs the groupe wants 2 be some once that make outher smile outhers happy and help them. I want 2 be the helping hand 4 outhers that i dont have as i start 2 play. Want 2 see them smile. Want 2 show them the World that i love. Have a great day anyways ^^

I'd recomand to try playing tank, watch guides, videos of others tanking and if you like it, it is perfect. Or play dps like a pleb

I think you can start as what you want, though if you want to do some more advanced content later dps is a bit better because as a Tank you will lead your group etc. so maybe play a DPS first and then a tank though you can also just start as a tank and learn the game that way =D both is possible dps is just a bit easier ^^

easy orc hunter beast mastery skinning leatherworking cooking easyest class to play next class to play is orc death knight blood jewelcrafting blacksmithing cooking and then highmountain tauren druid resto/moonkin herbalism mining fishing cooking. after that it really dont matter destruction warlock or mage or monk are all good clases also elemental shamans are alot of fun just pick goblin for the racial vendor discounts and the 1% haste permanent helps any caster alot

Druid is awesome to farm gold and is one of the favorite classes to multibox for that. Though you can also get gold through other means so I would pick a class that you like =)

Me neither. Frost DKs and Mages both use frost, therefore: frost. Holy Priest and Paladin are both light based healers (not to mention the connection between the 2 classes), so: Holy. Restoration is fine too. Useless nitpicking. Shadowlands is indeed garbage, but comparing the specs names to it is stupid, not to mention they got their names in vanilla-wrath, aka "the golden age", by the OG Blizzard who are not the same guys who did Shadowlands.

If you want to know which class is the best for each patch, take a look on some tier lists you can find online. Though I would always play the class that is most fun to play=)

Not really. Some friends and I specialized in breaking specs and classes. Taking some of the "weakest" and owning everyone. You just have to find little tweaks that make massive differences. For example during Frozen Throne on first hitting 80 (cap) my druid healer had hardly any Mana and many people laughed and would not group with me. However my mana regain and power was off the chart already and I could chain heal any run my gear would allow me to even enter with a warning. Even with an under geared tank so long were they decent. I could heal out of tree form and do a nice chunk of damage. Often leading in AoE damage. Some runs I would even be top dps (outside of boss fights) behind tank due to chain pulls and not needing to heal in tree form often. The small tweak of ignoring stats to increase mana pool and diverting those stats to magic power and regain made a gigantic difference. Figuring out what stats work best compared to what "most people" claim is best will give you a huge advantage. At lv 70 everyone thought hit capping a rogue was stupid yet I did it and would easily outdamage rogues with much better gear and higher attack power. Yes attack power was still my main Stat, I gave up crit because once my hit cap was really high I would steal threat from even the best tanks on my server pretty easily with crit. It became a problem for large raids to the point I was told to count to 20 after the fight started to join... and I would still top the dps charts. Also if there were points where threat drops I would either hold back for 10 counts or swap gear for my rogue tank set and OT. True it was hard to find groups when people inspected my gear closely until I was well known for trashing runs and even playing off tank as rogue. My guilds main raid tank was an Enhancement Shaman. Off tank was my rogue and we tore through runs without stopping. Chain pulling all the way. You can make a lot of different playstyles work with different Stat combinations and class options. Blood death knights can be very high dps even though it's a tank spec. Guardian druids can do decent mele damage just by switching to similar gear with different stat focus and going cat mode. You can learn to multi role with a lot of classes and specializations that come down to building the right stats to make up for lack of abilities... and having a second set of gear. My druid carried 4 sets, one for each spec but I only ran guardian/restoration. Guardian with a dps build was great for quests or filling in a pug. For easier runs or when running with really good players I would heal with my Ballanced set for more damage since I wouldn't need to heal as much. The most important thing is learning your rotations and having the right stats. Also in pvp, anticipating the rotations of the enemy to counter them (if possible).

What is “meta” in one tier of content can easily become washed in the next. If you want to focus on viability, I think it’s better to consider what utilities are in high demand from the class in question, such as the Arcane Intellect buff from mages or a priest’s Power Infusion.

Nice vidéo ! How do you get your monk to hold his staff on his shoulder ? Is it normal ? Sorry if the answer is obvious I'm a noob beginning the game and my character doesn't hold his staff that way

My monk holds it that way because its the artifact weapon from legion which you can also use as a transmog/skin =D And thy very much =) There are plenty of videos out there that should help you getting the artifact wepaons u want =)

I would still recommend you to try it out. ^^ It is a lot of fun and this can change with every patch. I would recommend you to pick what is most fun to you, because it is still better to be a good at a bad class than to be bad at a good class and to have fun ^^

Some of the top damage rankers have been Enhancement Shamans. I used to run with a guy that was ranked 1st overall for a bit. Wow wide not just server wide. He was our main raid tank and I was the off tank on my rogue. We did everything "wrong" but made every dungeon a speed run.

While it is certainly a cool video, I feel the actual order of classes are... Chaotic. It'd be better if it either played on armor classes (IE: Cloth > Leather > Mail > Plate) or based around Fantasy (Starting from Paladin and Priest and slowly descending into the more 'evil' Rogues and Warlocks) or even around specific mechanics like starting the video with classes that don't use mana at all up to classes that rely on it.

You got off cheap.. Try training for the Olympics in Judo. Its much harder and expensive and even if you medal there's nothing waiting for you.
