Chop It Up: The Swimming Pool Library by Alan Hollinghurst

So let's get this quick disclaimer out of the way: I'm one of the worst at proper pronunciation. "Library" turns into "Lie Berry." "Promiscuity" turns into "Premiscuity." Such as life, I have a hard time slowing down everything. Including my words. I thank those who take like in my Southern inflections.
So what do we have here? Today we're (finally) talking about Alan Hollinghurst's The Swimming Pool Library. It took me a hot minute, but I finally got to it. As some of you may have noticed, I don't do a lot of video reviews on books. Mostly because of time, editing out spoiler information, and maintaining the narrative flow of the videos. Nonetheless, I wanted to make this one, and want to start doing so with books I want to go in dept with on camera.
The Swimming Pool Library is a multifaceted gay contemporary novel worth the pick-up.

12 hours!? Slap me silly and call me Susie Mae Matthews. That's like a coast to coast road trip type situation. Except for the sleeping on the road! LOL. But hey, at least you're getting some ASMR going on. That's not too bad. This video has been a hotttttt minute ago (and hopefully I've gotten better at this thing), but I absolutely remember and love the book and appreciate you dropping me a comment. Sorry, just found this video again haha. That's actually how we say it in England (Southern American accents are generally more similar to British, phonetically, than the "normal" American accents). If you pronounced 'library' with two R's over here, people would probably notice it and say it sounds American.
