I'm loving this so far but i am having a bit of trouble piecing it all together. when you show multiple of your own ukulele in the beginning throws me off quite a bit seeing as they are doing something different each. I also find your tabs a bit hard to understand but i am working as hard as i can to learn it because this simply sounds amazing when you play it. any tips? (Edit) Ever seen any of "The Ukulele Teacher" 's videos? They are very easy to understand and the little window showing off the chords helps a lot as well as how he shows tabs. I personally think that if you could make your tutorials do something similar i would be very grateful.

Elijah Eystberg Thanks for your comments Elijah, I agree this isn't the easiest tutorial to follow. My idea for the intro is for uke player 1 to strum the chord sequence for all 4 repeats of the chord progression, at the start of the 2nd repeat uke2 starts picking a melody and continues for the rest of the intro. It continues to build with Uke3 starting the fast strumming for the 3rd & 4th repeats. That's what i was aiming for with the small videos. The background video is just playing whatever melody is on top, as that's another option if you don't have 3 uke players or a loop pedal!Not sure if that makes sense?

Ma dude ive got all this almost all down like a pro but im just having trouble getting the strumming patter u do in the opening. Is it like up down down something? It goes to fast for my dumbass
@ukecando7 жыл бұрын
Hiya, one suggestion for the strumming is to keep strumming Down / Up / Down / Up etc. all the way through but make strum '1' louder (and the others quieter/muted) in this pattern, only counting the Down strums: 1 2 3, 1 2 3, 1 2 Hope this helps :)

Same bro please explain it slowly for my mind to understand 😂

Can someone write down the first strumming, please? I just can't get it right
@ukecando6 жыл бұрын
Hi there, good point - I don't think I explained the strumming clearly. I think I'm strumming Down, Up, D, U, DUDU but I'm keeping the rhythm by moving my right hand up/down between the first 4 strums without hitting the strings. So if we call a silent strum 'u' or 'd' I think I'm doing D (u d) U (d u) D (u d) D (u d) D U D U. It may help to watch from 3:53 and slow the playback speed down - hope this helps!
