Chopard Is Just A Fashion Watch!

The Chopard Skull One (which I own), 1963 Heritage Chronograph, XPS 1860 Officere, GMT One, Perpetual Twin, Strike One, Alpine Eagle and various XPS versions deserve much more attention than the copy/paste watches we see recommended on youtube daily. Chopard is totally underrated in their effort!

Chopard is still one of very few independent brands and does true craftsmanship. Those pieces are top of the notch and play in the very same league as Patek or AP (actually probably even are better).

YEs chopard sits above Cartier or any current modern sports watches, not the vintage but they since L.U.C innovation & they producer quality highly undervalued (temporary) watches.

Like Cartier and Hermes, Chopard is a fashion ‘brand’, but the quality of its watchmaking (the LUC range in particular) is truly superb. I’d buy an LUC GMT One Black if I had the £11k…

The L.U.C. XP is my dream dress watch. It matches my blazer perfectly and its just pure class. Unfortunately I never wear a suit so I cant justify a 10k dress watch. But if I did, Id save for as long as I needed to get one

Jory - any of your viewers who think that Chopard makes fashion watches are just stupendously ignorant and not really someone who knows much about watches at all. Chopard has its own manufacture where it makes the L.U. Chopard line as well as the super high horology brand Ferdinand Berthoud...look them up they will blow your mind. I had the chance to spend time with the Ferdinand Berthoud folks at Watches & Wonders and hold a number of those references in my hands. Chopard actually plays up in the high horology plane with A. Lange Sohne and Patek Philippe. I've also had that exact blue sapphire minute repeater in my hands at Watches & Wonders. It is an incredible watch and the sound of the chimes is sublime. My recollection was the price was $500k. Thank you for educating your viewers...pretty embarrassing for those viewers who are so ignorant about watches that they would state that Chopard is a fashion brand.

Chopard is value for money for that craftsmanship, “fashion watch” is a very very bold statement. The caliber is make by their own, not borrow from other , even PP AP using JLC s caliber . Or other “luxurious “ brand just rename an ETA movement and fool us that’s their own creation

oh also yeah a genuinely luxury fashion watch is like fine art... which is why they are expensive, and why affordable or budget so-called 'fashion' watches aren't well regarded, they don't generally come from the fashionable portion of the fashion industry

My opinion is fashion watches are the ones that are made up of ultra premium materials, has an insanely high price tag and ones that cannot be acquired by someone who's in the upper 20% of the financial scale. A watch to be an advanced horological masterpiece that watch needs to have advanced innovative inner mechanics and practical benefits of those innovations to the end user of that watch. Unnecessary materials, unnecessary complications and bling bling bling DO NOT make a watch a God tier horological masterpiece. No, a horological masterpiece cannot be a fashion watch period because all modern "luxury" fashion watches are not attainable by the top 20% (maybe only top 1% if that) people on the country which that watch is made in and YES those fashion watches can have excellent mechanics inside unfortunately. We are in a real conundrum my friends.....hahaa 😫
