My dream to own a Pleyel Piano from the age of Chopin. So much richness, nostalgia, within a cabinet of wood, metal, and felt.

A beautiful piece played by an expert performer on a wonderful instrument, exactly as Chopin would have heard it! It doesn’t get any better than this!!

Such an intimate interpretation. I come here from time to time whenever I want to hear this kind of sound in that piano

Robert Baisch beautiful indeed! Such a warm welcoming tone. I dont know how to describe, but it has this veilied tone, like theres a piece of velvet over the tone.

The pianist and piano is a very good match.

Merci beaucoup.

Was the tuning in Chopin's period different from the one in today? The G sounds like F# to me.
@BluntofHwicce Жыл бұрын
Yes, it's probably tuned to A= 435 which was standard in France during the latter 19th century, or perhaps a bit lower.

I doubt, the piece sounds like a ballade in E minor
