If one is from Poland and is sensitive, Chopin's music makes an electrifying impression that does not fade with time. But I think this is not only the case in my country and this outstanding composer has many fans all over the world. Warm greetings from Poland, you played it brilliantly. I would love to hear Chopin in your performance in an extended version.

Nocturne op.9 no.2 is currently my favorite Chopin piece, finding out he made it at 22, the same age that I am while writing this, is making me both incredibly happy and slightly depressed
@knopfir2 ай бұрын
why would you feel depressed? the man has been playing and composing for 15 years at that point. thats an INSANE amount of time. 22 is still early in your life, so if you start right now or even in the next couple of years youll be able to make amazing things in a few years (or even less f you study and practice intensely). ive even heard of an 80~yo grandmother that started learning piano and became a virtuoso after about 2-3 years, think about that.

@nathanbegel45052 ай бұрын
@knopfir Because becoming a virtuoso in 3 years even for someone very young is super quick, and also because when we get older our brain capacity decreases making learning harder than when you're a little one. But that doesn't mean you can't learn being an adult, I know a professional double bassist in an orchestra that started at 18!
@knopfir2 ай бұрын
@nathanbegel4505 Well she probably isnt at a professional performant level, but its definitely possible to reach intermediary level if you know how to learn, especially with all the resources out there (or if she got a teacher).
