That is why Polish teachers are above any others if we are talking about Chopin music. They know and understand Polish folk rhythms and history of Polish folk: specific of instruments, manners of folk musicians...

This man taught Zimerman.

He started to teach Zimerman in 1963 when Zimerman wasn’t even 7 years old yet, so he was a big influence. And prof. Jasiński was the head of the jury of Chopin competition.
