Complete and utter noise. Sounded like an etude instead of a deep Byronic poem. I've never liked Hamlin's Chopin. He is best in Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev and the like.

I’m always impressed with Hamelin’s incredible dexterity in everything he plays, but I don’t always like his interpretations. Same goes for Argerich. They are absolute gods of the modern piano world, but sometimes are too talented for their own good, if that makes sense?

I must say I am disappointed here. Too free , leaning towards his arrangements of Chopin/Liszt, a free interpretation.
