Yeah, all these guys can sing lead, they switch around and their harmonies are top-notch.That's one thing about acapella, they have to know how to sing very well and have that vocal talent because they have no instruments to hide behind as I've seen in some bands out there.

Home Free will always surprise you...either by their sense of humor that will show up in some videos, making you cry in others, the type of music they will cover, their originals, the sounds they will produce or the ranges/abilities of the singers! You never really know what you are going to get with these guys. If you love harmonies, check out their versions of "Seven Bridges Road" or "Helplessly Hoping". They have over 300 music videos so I am sure there is something you will dearly love in there! Can't wait to see more of your Home Free journey!

This is one of the most popular Home Free songs. It was the first song I ever heard from Home Free & I was instantly hooked. It really showcases the talent of these 5 men (their tight harmonies, Tim Foust's bass & Adam Rupp's incredible beatboxing). They are my favorite a cappella group. This song is very old (about 100 yrs.) & is done in the bluegrass country style. It was used in the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" starring George Clooney. Some of my favorites are "Take Me Home Country Roads", "In The Blood", "Blue Ain't Your Color", "How Great Thou Art", "Ring Of Fire", "Elvira", "Hillbilly Bone", "American Pie", "Brother In Arms", "One Man Band", "Listen To The Music", "Sea Shanty Medley", "Skull & Bones" etc.

Just subscribed with hopes for more Home Free! They are the best! They do a huge variety of music and each have a very impressive vocal range. They will make you dance, cry and fall out of your seat laughing. They have great personalities and sense of humor and are genuinely good people. Tim, the bass, has a 5 octave range and Adam, the beatboxer, can't be beat. Thanks for the reaction!

Home Free is my favorite group and the harmonies are great. Adam's beatboxing is my favorite of Home Free. Austin and Rob did a great job on this song. Tim is my favorite bass and Chance did the mouth harp ❤❤❤❤❤❤.

These guys don't need instruments because they have a great beatboxer, Adam Rupp. The bass is Tim Foust. You might be amazed that he sings five octaves, meaning he can do high tenor as well as bass. I believe this was videoed in Alabama.

New sub because of your reaction to Home Free. Thank you. More reactions and the Home Fries will come. Home Free is amazing. They can be hilarious, and they can be serious. They were in Alabama for this video. Try How Great Thou Art; God Bless the USA with Lee Greenwood & the Singing Sergeants from the US Air Force Band; American Pie and Vincent, both with Don McLean; and John Denver’s Country Roads. For fun: The Butts Medley/Remix, Hillbilly Bone, and Champagne taste on a Beer Budget (an original by bass Tim Foust).

Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole The group started in 2000/2001( there’s contention on the year)by brothers Chris and Adam Rupp They won The Sing Off season 4 2013 They are the only Country A Capella ( all vocals no instruments)group but they are honestly do so so much more than just country music they can sing any genre and they do. There is no Lead singer in the group.They each ( except Adam R )sings the song and who’s ever voice or voices sound right for the song gets the lead unless it is a bass/ baritone song then that’s Tim or Chance.A lot of time each member have a part in the song. Fans of Home Free are known as Home Fries Adam Rupp: Beatboxer Extraordinaire can make almost any sound imaginable (A whole drum kit, harmonica (his Nomonica we call it )plane flyovers, trains, castanets, bugs ,birds etc).Co founder from Mankato Minnesota. Rob Lundquist:Lead tenor(beard and glasses) Very soulful voice and mastetr whistler from Minneapolis,Minnesota Tim Foust :Bass (had long dark hair now short with grey ) 5+ octave range can go so low he blows speakers or sky high from Nederland,Texas Austin Brown:High Tenor ( Long wavy hair )Voice of an angel from Tifton Georgia.He has left the group and Adam Bastien took his place June 21 He is from Detroit,MI Adam Chance(Aka Chance):Baritone/Bass Deep,rich voice(Does the juice harp sound in Man Of Constant Sorrow) has short dark hair short beard from Baldwin County,Alabama.Replaced Chris Rupp ( Adams Brother and co founder in 2016) They have collaborated with many singers and legends Don McLean: Vincent Don McLean:American Pie Oak Ridge Boys:Elvira Kenny Rodgers:Children Go Where I Send Thee (Please watch the end message) Alabama:Christmas In Dixie Mark Wills:Don’t Laugh At Me ( important message at the end ) Lee Greenwood & US Airforce Band:God Bless The USA Any many many more. They have amazing songwriters in the group Tim, and Chance and Austin was also one of the songwriters so they have a very large playlist of covers and original songs End of the Road (Boyz 2 Men cover ) Helplessly Hoping (5 part harmony masterpiece ) Butts Medley/ Remix Listen To The Music Can’t Outrun You Brothers In Arms Skull And Bones ( original written by Chance for Ubisoft video game Skull And Bones) Life Is A Highway Stand By Me I’ve Seen (Original by Tim) Your Man Crazy Life ( original and last video with Austin ) Something To Talk About ( first video with Adam B ) I Still Believe In You Hark! The Herald Angels Sing The Thanksgiving Song( newest release) Mayday(DON’T WATCH TILL YOU ARE VERY FAMILIAR WITH THE GROUP AND THEIR RANGES ) There's not a song that you pick from their 200+ catalog that is bad I haven't found one yet. They are just funny, down to earth, humble nice guys.They are the best A Cappella group there is IMO Sorry for the long read 🏠🍟

Love your name! Love Home Free. They are country but sing all genres of music. Love those Oak trees too. I think this was filmed in S. Alabama. Chance, back left, was doing the “mouth harp”. He does it live too. Adam, back right, is the amazing beatboxer. Tim, the bass, has a 5 octave range so he can sing super low and then sing high. Known for their beautiful harmonies. Good one!

The bass there, Tim Foust, can hit 5 octaves, he is a wonder. This was filmed around Fairhope, Alabama.

@momD61218 күн бұрын
Jaw harp.
@teresacartwright540611 күн бұрын
The song was originally published in 1913 and later covered by Bob Dylan & Joan Baez among others. There are NO instruments played in this - 90% of their songs are purely acapella. Although they're a country band, they actually play & write (3 of them are song writers) in almost every genre. Dive down the rabbit hole - it's a great trip.

Hey love. How come you are reacting to a playlist that I could have written since you started...? I'll edit on the flip side my friend When you wake up to your worst depressing day, check out Home Free doing the 'Butts remix'. Know that travelling the world costs nothing but courage. Throw yourself upon the mercy of the folks that inhabit this twirling globe and on balance all will be good. I also grew up in the country. Corn/soybean farm in the middle of nowhere Ohio. I hate country music. It feels insulting to me. Being country doesn't mean we can't speak correctly and country doesn't mean The South. I do however love this band and this song. I know the technique you're referring to as a "Jaw Harp" rather than a mouth harp. Either way it's impressive.
@choppedliver_reacts18 күн бұрын
@@jabbott6748 I agree with everything you said 🤣
@nancyholter564617 күн бұрын
Good country music is NOT insulting to anyone. Good country music is about the harmonies and the stories.
@jabbott674817 күн бұрын
@@nancyholter5646 I must assume then that I haven't encountered any "good" country music in my 50 years of life because what I have heard of it all feels insulting. Okay, that's not exactly true. Coward Of The County by Kenny Rogers is pretty great.
@nancyholter564616 күн бұрын
@@jabbott6748 how are songs about life, love, loss insulting? Go Rest high? Forever and Ever, Amen? Walking After Midnight? Love Without End, Amen? Are there 'insulting' country type songs - of course, but they are far outnumbered by honest and touching songs.
