You just weren't ready for that, DJ - and to be honest I don't think many people were when it first dropped! This song has been covered by so many people in different ways but the Bass Gang came up with something unique in this arrangement. It's become one of my favourite versions, alongside Gavin, Miracle of Sound's own versions and Jonathan Young's version. Gavin commented on his Facebook page that he was really digging this version, which was nice to see.

Honestly I´m glad they didn´t for this one, they are plenty deep. Eric in sea shanties is awesome for the absolute abyss. If they want to go grit and rock Jonathan Young would be the obvious one. Would have been equally awesome, but Big Brev having grit plus operatic vocals transcends this song in the best way. Plus i´m just happy hefinally the main feature, not just nice surprise in between.
