Dr. Hiriluk ate the soup so Chopper would believe he cured him. He didn’t know Doctorine would spill the beans, so by killing himself in an explosion Chopper would have kept believing. It’s perfectly written in that he finds out and it works in favor of choppers character having a direct goal to strive for.

dr hiriluk probably has one of the best quotes in the series for me. when he sees all the doctors are safe and wapol is about to end him, “When do you think people die? It’s when… they are forgotten.” it even had dalton crying. what he said is the very essence of what this show is about

The intention of Hiriluk striping was to show he was unarmed and defenseless to Chopper ... in hindsight exposing to a minor will hopefully be replaced in the Live Action Season 2 of One Piece.

There's something I wanna say so you can better understand the history. Luffy uses the word "nakama" that in the subtitles they put it as "friend" but in the pirate world "nakama" doesn't mean literally friend, It's more like partner or in this case a crewmate. So when Luffy say thing like "Wanna be my friend?" "You're my friend" he's using the word "nakama" so he doesn't mean literally friends but of course they're friends, sorry if I say something wrong I'm not a English speaker and I try my best, hope you guys understand what I said. Before I say anything, Mav got a good haircut or hairstyle! W hair! Now, that was a W intro if I do say so myself, lol. Also, in defense for Nami, her clothes burned off. She was wearing a decent ish shirt but that burned off when they were freed from Mr. 3. Also, a popular fancast for the Live Action is Jamie Lee Curtis for Dr Kureha/Doctorine. Jamie Lee Curtis has expressed interest AND she's a huge fan of One Piece. She said she'd consider the Live Action if it was successful and popular. Since it is, there's a solid chance she will be cast as Dr. Kureha. Another thing with Chopper's fruit. So Oda in an SBS (They're these letters Oda answers, they appear after the end of every One Piece volume) that if a human ate the Human Human Fruit they'd be "enlightened." Quick tip in the title for next time write ep 84,85,86 as people then know its 3 episodes that are 52 mins because on face value when scrolling anyone who will see 84-86 may think 2 episodes which is stupid but if ur scrolling through recommended stuff u wont be thinking so instantly seeing a 52 minute video that at first glance u may think its 2 eps may be a put off.
