This was exactly how Photek was doing it in this really old documentary I saw. Nice work! Off topic from the break chopping, are you using built in devices for the rest of the instrumentation in this track (the pads are really lush!).

Nice! Think I saw the same docu, really cool time capsule. I'm not in this case, think it was the Korg Wavestation VST if I recall, though I do use the stock Bitwig FX a good bit (Especially the delay-2, sounds amazing!)

It's my favorite DAW for sursies. some of the functionality lends itself better to DnB compared to others. ultimately, any DAW could work just fine though

Is there a way to automatically place beat markers at each onset without having to click one by one at the bottom of the audio waveform? Also is there a way to automatically quantize or align those beat markers with the track above or just a selected region? Thanks.

I got the original hot pants drum loop ,its around 80 bpm, how to get it into 160-170?

80 bpm and 160 is the same thing depending on how you count it. Your break will work just fine. Have fun chopping!
