aww man, thanks for the mention! Looking forward to checking our your new channel, I think that's a great idea to have a music only one.

What a joy to see someone who knows something at a deep deep level. You play Bitwig like a maestro. Also, dolphins!

fantastic creative ideas and a few little details in some areas of Bitwig I wasn't aware of, it's always worth making the time to watch your videos Robert, thank you.

Exactly what I was looking for. The use of the recorder and the gate repeat is truly inspiring for glitchy sounds.

Excellent technique! I was using Glitchmachines Tactic and Twisted Tools Vortex, trying to sequence random sounds from a list. The way you do it seems to be way more flexible. And i never thought using Sononym for that purpose but it's a great idea.

Brilliant as always! Had a little thought, at around 11:30 you have a gate repeater retriggering the sample (I think?) - the gate repeater can retrigger very quickly, (like kHz) would it be possible to use a keytracker to modulate the speed of the gate repeater to effectively make a playable synth sound? (How would you get it to play in tune across the keyboard?)
@PolarityMusic3 жыл бұрын
yes you can. but it would be easier to just use an oscillator (pulse) and hook it up to the play input. should have the same effect.

Hi polarity you make really good videos and i see you are very experienced on how to use bitwig. I was wondering if you will ever do a tutorial on how to make industrial techno like ansome, snts, I hate models etc... I would love to do it.

exactly the video i was searching for! so would you say it makes more sense to use the arpegiator than the note repeater for this kind of use case?

So, do I understand this right that it is possible to use this to get random percussion sequences and flams like with Playbeat 3 in this video? kzbin.info/www/bejne/nKSseXWmhpJ8r9E

what is going on with your cpu? have a look at 8min and 17 seconds. it is jumping like crazy. pulling in adaptiverb (which is a known cpu hog) makes it stable !?!
@PolarityMusic3 жыл бұрын
i have also an adaptiverb instance on the first track + unfilter on the master ;)
