The first 4ish minutes you had me scratching my head. Then I was only lost for the next 20 minutes or so, then when you made a few more pieces and filled in the holes with paper I think I finally understood your direction. You have so much confidence when cutting parts and panels! I'd be crapping my pants! Good work!🇨🇦👍

It’s shaping up pretty nice. I dig the longer look, basically, leaving the rear wheel arch to roof line as it sits. Especially with a front end that’s like a straight 8 length nose, if that makes any sense. Took me a bit to see what you were imagining, but throwing the paper up there made it make sense. Can’t wait to see how this turns out!

I have never wanted to leave anything stock all of my life. My mother said I couldn’t leave well enough alone. I like the way your mind works. I was a CO2 laser operator. Cutting metal with light was very interesting to me. Always a gearhead at heart.

Yup, I'd section the rear end forward to match the rear wheel well with the back of the roof section. That will bring it all into proportion and avoid that Zephyr look like you ended up with on the Pontiac. Lots of work, that is for sure. It is definitely taking on the chopped 35-36 Ford 3 window profile. Thank you for taking us along. The entertainment is much appreciated as well as educational.

Best entertainment on KZbin. Somebody like to play with metal. Some fellows make a hold series out of simple roof chop. Brent does this in 2 mins . This is art work in action. Like watching a painting being developed one layer at a time.

Have to reiterate what I’ve said many times. Watching Brent work is a true pleasure for me. I LOVE how he shares so much of his THINKING and planning. Many channels show the work without really the thinking behind it. I really enjoy listening to him work it all out! Thank you as always Brent. This one is beating you up a little bit, but it’s great on this end! 😊👍👍

This is turning into my favorite build for many reasons. First being a fan of all things Mopar. Second starting from Mopar waste and going to three window coupe is more than an advanced project. Third you have the vision of how it needs to look and can pull it off. On the edge of our seats.

I'd suggest doing the "B" pillars next that way it is easier to shape than roof panel filler pieces. I agree the rear window needs to drop down too. I think what is throwing off the look with the quarter panels is on the 36 Ford 3 window the doors are longer than what you have.
@grietga Жыл бұрын
Impressing job! Before cutting the back, you may want to mock up the front and get an idea of the car's global proportions. That may help you decide by how much you want to shorten the rear, if at all.

WOW Brent you sure have a good designer eye man. Your vision was a bit hard to follow but once you started cutting and pasting it all makes sense.
