That's what I call hard work! If you had a patreon page I would have to donate so you can get a better axe or a gas powered log splitter! Just subscribed to your channel! Your property tour was perfect! Your definitely living the homestead lifestyle! Thanks for sharing! Rick From Virginia

Awesome! Not for the faint hearted! Feels good to split some wood some times! These days the splitter is the way I go most times! I appreciate your hard work!

Wow that was deeply satisfying! Makes me remember the times before we got our wood splitter. My husband would use the axe and I would pick up what he split and stacked it! I still pick up and stack but my husband no longer uses an axe 😂!!

The other day I once again offended someone when they were describing how good their log splitter was, they split a winters worth of wood in two days. I have always cut my wood in four to six foot lengths and during the winter, since there's plenty if time for it, cut it up as needed and split it by hand. I said, "when I stop splitting wood by hand then haul me off to the graveyard." Didn't help the other person was 45, ten years younger. Guess I ain't doing it right. I should do like everyone else, buy wood, then split it with a machine, and buy exercise equipment so i get some exercise.
