This song helps me with my depression I pull myself out of those dark thoughts I think about my mother and my best friend and my god daughter. I am my mothers only child and I know she needs me

Haven’t heard this in a few years. Now that I’m sober and very stable it hurts even more. This could’ve been my family, I could’ve ended up hurting them and I didn’t even once stop to think about what I’m doing to my surroundings. It feels very liberating to finally have that sense of accountability for what I’ve done to myself. Hope you’re doing good and taking care of yourself. Greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭 ❤

This song can be about suicide but actually some of it was written about someone who was dying of AIDS. The writer was watching a documentary about someone living with aids and when he collapsed and was rushed to hospital the chorus was pretty much what their partner said in the documentary.

I have to figure out how to request a song. Tthere's a song by the killers called "Goodnight, Travel Well" about his best friend taking her life, addiction, in Las Vegas. I grew up in Utah and my life long friend raised her family in the same town, and were good friends, and went to school with the lead singer and other bands members. It's a great song. Dramatic!

@@SaeedReacts. I know you do. you are really so knowledgeable, and I can't get enough of your thoughts and analysis of so many great artists. I heard you mention about Bob Dylan earlier, "hard rain" ... that you have to take that kind of depth in doses in that vast 70 year catalog, years of work. The great thing with me is he was my best friends favorite so I got each album as they came out. Since we were young teens. Mine was Neil Young growing older for lyrics. But. Bob lyrics. Wow. Thank you so much for your time. Not very many people outside my family, care about lyrics, poetry, language, words meaning. Or are deep to see that so I love seeing someone who does. Such fun to spend some of my older days.
