Honestly, I blame American media and immature fans online for the stigma against K-Pop. It's just music in another language like Reggaeton and Afro-Trap yet there are unfair stereotypes attached to it. If it was that bad would it have this many fans? I recommend BTS Crash Course 2020 because it includes clips of multiple songs so they get an idea of what flavor of BTS they like.

The part in the middle is the "dance break", it isn't usually part of the song this was the rehearsal for an award show performance that was 38min long this was the last song they did in that performance

People have to really get over the words, "I wouldn't really listen to K-pop"... You are 100% correct, that is a stigma that needs to go. Korean music is on another level. Production, work ethic, dedication, passion and style are all above and beyond many of our American industries efforts. Once you immerse yourself you will understand that as a fact. Dismissing k-pop for the simple word 'Kpop' does a disservice to ones self. I appreciate you exposing others to the genera and explaining in a positive way that help get over the prejudice.

An interesting thing about BTS their live performances and dance practices are exactly alike. If you really want to see something amazing react to DTS's go full MMA performance. Yes it is 28 minutes long. But BTS is not Justin Bieber and Asian awards show are not American award shows. Every performance has at least 2 ,3 songs the ones winning the most awards like BTS. Are allowed mega performances. BTS had an intro video, 4 songs, interllude video,7 short solo performances, the intro too and performance of Dionysus
