Jokes Apart but I literally feel disgusting the way Women (though I'm a MAN) are portrayed, glorified, downtrodden in Indian movies & TV shows just 4 the sake of Melodrama & Entertainment. Movies like Saajan ka Ghar (1994) & then this CCCC (2001) explain that no matter how worthy a Woman is, if she CAN'T conceive, abandon her discard her & get our Boy a new Girl. No !!!! Don't even think of Adoption coz Apna khoon is afterall Apna khoon. Then there're TV serials where it is shown A boy & girl falling in 💞, fighting against family getting married, living happily 4 some time. Then suddenly a Doctor claims that the Woman can't conceive or has very less chance. Then misunderstanding btwn them crops in & they're separated. Years later it is discovered that despite being infertile, the lady CONCEIVED & BORE a child (most probably Daughter). The Hero initially hates the heroine 4 that then claims that, "Maine Hamesha sirf ek hi Ladki se pyaar kiya & that's You" & everything is sorted, hero heroine unite. So had there not been a child, Hero wouldn't have been in love, isn't it ? There're also shows like Ghum Hai kisike.. in Star Plus or Dil Se Dil Tak of Colors. These shows glorified surrogacy in probably the Most fuc&&&& way possible. The surrogate mother is shown falling in love with the baby's father & family is trying to unite them disposing the Main Lady b'coz she couldn't conceive & deliver a khandaan ka 🪔. The surrogate lady is capable. Main Lady can't carry the 9 months pain, surrogate Lady will. 1 advice I'd give to newly wed couple or even pregnant Moms is to NEVER watch ITV shows ever in Life

I'm a Hindu & respect my religion a lot but may face criticism or backlash assuming that I'm mocking at Hindu Scriptures. But 1 extract from the religious Book Mahabharata I'd like to bring forth for enlightenment. Everybody knows Mahabharata is all about battle between Kauravas (evil) & Pandavas (Good). But b4 that it had a storyline anyone hardly cared & often ignored. King Shantanu's Son Devabrata took a vow of Celibacy & became Bhishma. So that his Step Mom Satyavati's Son can ascend the throne. But unfortunately both his Step bros Chtrangada & Vichitravirya died naturally. Then Satyavati ordered Bhishma 2 break his vow, marry 1 of the queen & get a successor. Bhishma promptly denied claiming it's not his fault if the purpose of his Vow isn't met. Vow once taken cannot be broken. So Satyavati orders him to call Sage Vyasa who through Sperm Donation can make the queens pregnant. Why Only Sage Vyasa ? Asked Bhishma. It was then Satyavati revealed that she has a Son with Sage Parasara even b4 she met King Shantanu. That son is Sage Vyasa. Sage Parasara had promised to ward off the fish odour from Satyavati's Body & the child will be a great sage who'll write the ultimate Book of Mankind. Sage Vyasa did what he was requested to do, hence 3 childern were born Dhritarashtra, Pandu & Vidur. Again in 2nd Gen, all the Pandavas were NOT the bio son of Pandu. They were the sons of Kunti & Dharmaraj (out of whome Yudhishthir was born), Pawan Dev (Bheem), Indra Dev (Arjun) & Ashwini Kumaras (Nakula & Sahadeva). Only Kauravas were the blood of Dhritarashtra & Gandhari. It's also a reason why Kauravas wanted to ascend the throne after Dhritarashtra coz they were the Direct blood. So even Mahabharata also proves that children BORN OUT OF WEDLOCK ascended the throne. How strange is the fact that we live in a society where though we praise the Pandavas & wish to have characteristics like them but the thought process or the mentality we possess are that of Kauravas. Khandaan ka 🪔, Apna khoon & all that.

Finally someone said THIS IS NOT SURROGACY. It literally took generations & MIMI to try to educate people. But thanks to this film, people still don't know. Even mimi wasn't accurate enough. Once a couple starts the surrogacy procedure and the surrogate gets pregnant, a couple can't just abandon the baby and leave no matter what. And neither can they abort it just like that. Surrogacy isn't a joke. The couple has to accept the child or else legal action can be taken.
