Your 2588 is SHARP. Always loved the last of the sheet metal body machines, not to mention the 2588 was such a monster vs the 1688. Great video and thank you for posting it!

One bushel yields enough flour to make 70 one-pound loaves of white bread or 90 one-pound loaves of whole-wheat bread.

which combine do you like better...are those trailers not overloaded for weight on the road

Great camera work! is it me or do those combines seem to have a super wide track width on the rear axles?
@tallfarmboy8 жыл бұрын
It sure is wide compared to the old 2wd combines... Older John Deere's and Gleaners, for sure.

Could you use grain carts? Nice equipment by the way!
@tallfarmboy8 жыл бұрын
They could use grain carts and do when needed. In this case they were only hauling to an elevator in Waco, MO which was less than 2 miles away, so 1 driver in the semis was enough to keep up with the combines... They were able to load the trucks full that way also. Probably grossing a little over 100,000 on the scales.

Grain cart?
@tallfarmboy6 жыл бұрын
This time of year, there are exactly enough workers to make this system work efficiently. With 2 semis, one semi driver, 2 combines can operate with 1 driver and unloader and the cycle time for the trucks to unload, it all just worked perfectly without the need for a grain cart.

Case IH are and have been the leaders. IH were the first of the rotaries back in the mid 70s and everyone else followed. And to top it all off, red is the best colour for any ag machinery. Ya just can't beat em.
