Thank you for tuning into my first SFM animation! This was a huge technical test and practice run... learned a whole lot and have ton more to learn! I know a lot of us are very passionate about Star Wars, so please know this is NOT canon or any attempt to change the story of Star Wars or how the force works xD This was just a concept I always loved as a kid, one clone being chosen by the force, despite being a template. Hope you can still find some enjoyment in it! Stay tuned for more content :D

But in legends it was totally possible for clones to develop force sensitivity, though it was very rare and they weren't ever trained for much more than utilitarian things. But cloning someone with the intent of them being Force sensitive was much much harder.

I prefer the original idea, that playing God when it comes to the Force backfires horribly - resulting in genetically and mentally unstable clones. That said, the odds of being Force-sensitive could be the same for clones as ordinary people - with odds like 10,000,000,000,000,000 to 1. I could get behind that, but even then I don't think there were even 10-million clones for the duration of the war. To me, the Force is special. Sensitivity to it can't be replicated. And frankly, the less common it is for anyone to have, the more rare and unique it is.

Definitely not canon, but in the Lego Star Wars straight-to-DVD movies, there’s a Force-sensitive clone created by Palpatine and Dooku during the CW called Jek-14. They’re fun to watch and far more interesting, entertaining and coherent than the sequels, so worth a go.

It's funny because for five years I've been slowly making a force sensitive clone in my head, and i've recently in my boces class started to put it in one of those old choice based adventure games on the twinery 2 website. JAW. DROPPING. This was REALLY good. Great writing and story telling. The music was on point and made it feel like star wars. I personally find the Force to be a spiritual aspect, and the Force reveal along with the music made me cry. That was truly a Star Wars story.

Loved the cinematography of the opening shot--the gunships flying over, the reveal of the clone having died. The lengthy, 1-shot approach in the beginning really captured the chaos! I'm not very big on the idea of a clone being a Jedi, or having a force ability. BUT, this was a good story. I like how it came to him, in his most dire time. I also love how the other clones looked up to him because he was a commando unit, just as they did in the stories and games. AND ONTOP OF ALL OF THAT, great first animation! SFM to me, is not a an easy task, so the fact that you created a smooth animation like this is amazing. Props to you man, good stuff.

Actually in EU there were quite many examples of Force Sensetive clones, not exactly Jango Fett ones, but who said that one can't mix a DNA of Jango and a Force Sensetive to make someone who could be lucky as well?

My response to the one cringe lore master. You know originally the force wasn't controlled through midiclorains, it was something that some were able to feel through some form of spiritual and/or physical connection. Hell look at the clone series with Savage Opress, he clearly didn't show signs of connecting to the force until Mother Talzon did that ritual and Dooku literally trained him to feel it and force it to submit to his will. There was no indication of blood test to count some kind of microbe, that was only seen in Episode 1 with Anakin. Only other time midiclorains are mentioned is Episode 3 and hand full of novels, all of which are based primarily around canon setting. Legends didn't mentioned it and the Clone Wars series didn't make any mention of it that I can recall. It gave the impression the force chose it's wielders, giving it the feeling of a living symbiotic phenomenon that would allow those that could attune to it to draw upon it. A single clone commando having felt it before isn't completely out of the realm of possibility if you want to take into account how close some sometimes worked with other jedi. He looked at his hand as if wondering if he could do what they've probably witnessed and decided to attempt it and was partially successful. I say partially just cause how shaky the tank was, clearly straining to keep it aloft that high and for that long.

Midichlorians aren't the reason for a person to be a badass Force user actually, nor their amount, since basically their whole job was to operate like wires that connect every living being to the Force, which is why actually anyone could tap to Force with those still no matter of their number, though, the bigger number could potentially indicate at a huge potential of one if that person would train hard enough and will use his full potential, as the most basic way to be capable of using the Force with those requires a person being in a suitable state of mind and body to use it, basically meaning that one should be at the peak physical and mental condition to endure usage of the Force.

The only main issue is that no one is moving frantically when the audio seems to suggest urgency. I noticed you focused on making the movements smooth but there should of been some frantic movement especially from the clones. Also there were no shadows under a lot of the clones. Something to address for the next sfm you make. Anyways not a bad animation overall, just needed some work done still imo. : )

My point is as the dev stated it was his first attempt one can expect some points that nees tweaking. I was simply challenging Halomaniac, to do a project that was flawless. Fun fact: This is very accurate depiction of what Clone Commandos did during the battle of Geonosis In-experienced Jedi Generals sent them straight into the field, like a regular troopers, instead of sending them for special missions This resulted in 50% mortality rate of Clone Commandos during the Battle of Geonosis
