The church should be a place where people can find support, guidance, and a chance to grow spiritually.
Unfortunately, that isn't always the case for newcomers. Instead of warm welcomes, they might face cold stares and whispered comments.
New people may feel like they’ve entered a private club.
Sometimes, church communities might create an unwelcoming vibe. When long time members stick closely to each other, those who are new can feel left out.
They might hope to feel part of a community but find it difficult due to a lack of warmth or an implicit message that they must fit in completely to be accepted.

I too experience this. Many years ago I had an NDE. I didn’t see the future or other such things. It was a simple comforting experience. It stays with me to this day. I’m only beginning to understand it. I too seek to know my calling. Be patient, walk in faith, ask for discernment and wisdom in prayer . The fact that you express this concern should show you that you’re feeling the nudge from God. Stay on the path and seek him. May he who seeks may he find. Knock and the door will be opened. My church runs on plan, and routine. Every week is done exactly the same. They accept no prayer requests, where when someone is in need of prayer the whole congregation gathers together in prayer for those in need of it. At the end of every service they invite people to come to the alter and accept Christ as their Lord and Savior, and when someone does go to the alter, no one lays hands on them and prays for them. Everyone just stands around and waits. I always thought that the elders were supposed to pray for them, and lay hands on them! Am I wrong? They try to make you feel guilty when you miss a service, and voice it out in front of the the entire congregation when you miss a service. Which makes me take another day. My life is absolute routine, and I feel like when I am in church it should be controlled by the Holy Spirit, (not routine) and how He wants it to go! They once even stated that God does not speak to us through dreams and visions, and it's written throughout the Bible that He does. As a chosen one, I do not follow their rules, or play the role of trying to fit in. I am not comfortable in the church that I go to but I am waiting to see why God sent me there in the first place. That's the only reason I keep going! I have been going for about 5 or 6 months now and have felt the Holy Spirit 2 or 3 times. That saddening! 😢

These videos about "chosen ones" are often misguided (I am sensitive and empathic but St. Paul did not call himself a chosen one, he said run the race of faith to the very end in order to win an eternal crown and never assume you are chosen of God lest you fall away and are disqualified from the kingdom). For example, I allowed myself to get obsessed over a romantic situation recently and stupidly watched Tarot readings on KZbin for a few days and soon began to experience demonic oppression. Well you know what, I went down to my local Catholic Church and confessed to this sin - my first confession in 50 years - and after the priest granted absolution in the name of Christ the oppression suddenly lifted. So it's only a deluded self appointed 'chosen one' who would turn his back on Christ's remedy for demonic oppression and seek to trust in his own power, which really is a form of demonic delusion.

The definition of Church is "called ones" or "the chosen ones" the ecclesia. I understand catholics don't read or believe the Bible which is why you don't know this. 1 John 5:13 “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” King James Version (KJV) Catholics aren't Christians. The "chosen ones" who are the subject of these videos are people who are spiritually advancing, but it is delusion to equate this advancement with being chosen. Lucifer was the greatest angel and yet he fell, due to his pride. Remember this.
