I am from the Caribbean. I grew up seeing my grandparents eat using their hands, or adding seasoning with their hands but that was a long time ago. I am not judging anyone but i always wonder why they don't use forks, spoons, or thongs whilst cooking. One will expect at least that with the knowledge we now have it would be applied.
