This type of riding is grueling, your back hurts, your hands are numb from the vibration. Your left foot aches from hovering over the gear shifter, your right wrist is killing you from twisting the throttle back. Your right foot aches perched over the rear brake without pushing it down. Your left hand is barely holding the handlebar because your 4 fingers are gripping the clutch. Your fingers hurt from squeezing that clutch up and down through the gears so fast. Great ride!

False. On a sportbike gears are long and you don't have to shift at highway speeds, and if you do, you can easily do it without engaging the clutch. The only annoying part is the vibration through the right handle makes your hand go numb, and you can't let it go for too long because... throttle hand.

A rider aquaintance of mine was running from the Police with his girlfriend on the back. He had a helo, about 20 cars/SUV's and a few motorcycles after him. He toyed with them for 20 minutes and then took them on the freeway and waved good by to all the cars/SUV's as he hit 100+ through traffic. Then he waved goodbye to the helo when he went by the airport. Then he waved goodbye to the motorcycle cops and went down a one way street the wrong way. Parked in an underground parking lot, had lunch and went home. They arrested him later at home(license plate run) but let him go shortly after because he had an alibi because of an incompetent Police investigation. If they would've just asked me straight up...but they tried to be sneaky.
