Not only is the foxtrot a difficult dance but this was a ridiculously difficult song to do a foxtrot to. Props to Karen for choreographing it and to Chris for keeping up in the foxtrot bits despite the odd timing of the song. He's not technically the best, but I'd rather watch someone who has come from zero dance experience to really loving it.

I actually like the content, and how the Karen fitted the dance in the song. However, the song choice is pretty odd for this to be a foxtrot. I mean it was okay, but I feel like the song choice alone is going to put him in the bottom two. Anywho, love the frame, love the footwork, love the elements that were there, just odd song choice *8*

It was a bright and a colorful number, full of joy, with a good amount of proper Foxtrot in it. It was Chris's best ballroom dance yet! His frame was very good and he didn't forget to step from the heel while moving forward, which is essential in ballroom. However, it was completely lacking sway, he lost his balance during one step, they broke hold during the dance and above all - he didn't glide across the floor, he didn't create those long, long lines that are so important in the foxtrot. Chris didn't drive his feet into the floor - neither while stepping forward, nor while moving backwards. To sum up, he played the role of Dodger fantastically well, and he did show a big improvement in ballroom, but technically it could have been much better, especially for this stage of the competition. A 5.

I do like Oliver It's one of my favourite musicals I saw it twice from Cameron Mackintosh at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London on Saturday 5th September 2009 and Wednesday 7th July 2010

He reminds me of all of the past series, where the underdog really got far, it was all about the J word (journey) and the love for dance!! You never know he may even do a Chris Hollins or a Darren Gough (I'm bloody hoping so!).

He is so good and move so fluidly and naturally. It is like saying a pro. Like WOW. He should totally win. I don’t think even a pro dancer could put dance Chris. The guy with magic in his step. (There was absolutely no sarcasm in the comment, none at all🤫)

Chris, you should keep dancing after this. Your posture has improved and it is great for motor skills. You started out stiff as a board with two left feet and now you have some dance proficiency.

While yes, this was his best ballroom routine, I really do think it’s his time to go. I don’t think he’s up to par with everyone and he had an amazing run, so it would be nice to see him have a nice send off.

Chris is the embodiment of what the show is all about, he tries and improves and he's entertaining to watch, personality can be more than talent, especially since this is a entertainment show and not a professional dancing contest. Its all about his journey.

A dance of two halves, the theatrical parts were full of character and just delightful, he is a great performer. As for the foxtrot, not the best but certainly not the worst. I think the song just didn`t fit a foxtrot, it was too fast and gave it a stop start feel which I think one of the judges commented on too. It almost felt like it was designed to go against Chris somehow. 8/10

Unfortunately Chris didn't have a Latin tonight as he is a better Latin danger than Ballroom. The frame wasn't the best and it felt like he was walking it but the musical bits were wonderful and he did great acting this week. I liked his almost uncanny to line dancing with Karen. The Foxtrot he did do though was his best Ballroom to date. He stayed on time and did some nice steps but more content would have been nice. His lines looked unfinished just he needs to over do it abit more. Chris has made a massive improvement over the weeks and he has done very well for not being a natural or experienced dancer. I do think under all circumstances even with the major improvement he needs to go this week sadly, or Alex. *7/10*, brill theatre, not so great Foxtrot. He should be glad it was theme or he would have got 5's and 6's.

That's the nature of the Foxtrot. It's supposed to be slow and flowing, which is why it's also known as Slowfox. American Smooth Foxtrot is faster and livelier.

While I do think he is very likeable, this was the weakest of the night. Not that Alex was that much better, but better than this in my opinion. While I do hope Shirley stays with us as a judge because I like her very much, I think she has a very hard time hiding that Chris is one of her favourites. Motsi does a better job at being impartial, even though I think Alex is her favourite, at least out of the two non dancers.

Unfortunate for Chris this afternoon, the foxtrot is a very hard dance, but it was very entertaining, he’s come so far out of all the celebrities. Hate to say it but I think it’s his time to go, he’s a great time and it would be unfortunate to see anyone else go.

I did not want to like it because I think Chris is overmarked and actually should've been out long before. And this was also many things, kinda Quickstep, kinda Charleston, not much Foxtrott. But... I gotta admit, it was quite entertaining.

Very highly entertaining and theatrical, but it wasn't really Foxtrot much. Kinda weird he got more than Alex did. It's a shame he already did a Charleston, Jive and Couple's Choice, that would have fitted. I think he's going home tonight. Kind of a shame, and next week is the last elimination, and the elimination process is gonna be so so bland without him. But, I think it would be the right decision.

While this song is a good fit for Chris cusnof the character of it I feel a song that would have been better for him is a song they sadly could not get away with on Strictly because of the lyrics (kind of explicit lyrics) I feel he would have been great doing a dance to Master Of The House from Les Miserables. I can see Chris as Monsieur Thernadier cus of how animated he is and how well he embodies a character. If Chris ever decided to venture into the world of West End that would be the perfect role for him.

He is a very likable guy overall. And this suited quite alot! But the technique was much much improved from Week One. A real.crowd pleasing performance. However, His technique is not up to the standards for Week 11 and compared to the other celebs. A 7
