Same old same old with the Colts FO. I heard Kravitz talk about the situation, he’s not entirely convinced it’s not just Ballard. He does wonder if Irsay plays a part in this free agency strategy. Indianapolis is already a tough sell just by the location; but it doesn’t help if your organization are also seen as cheapskates. The other thing that’s not mentioned is the field turf at LOS. There’s no reason it can’t be a grass field, other than cost. With as much money Irsay is making, he needs to pony up and get a grass field. As far as the defensive tackles, it reminds me of the Jets circa 2010-2015. For whatever reason, they kept taking d-tackles in the first and second rounds (Richardson, Wilkerson, Coples etc), All while neglecting the skill positions. But yeah, CB loves his trenches even though they got their butts whooped last Sunday.
