fun video. the difference between watching pol tarres vs birchy is that birchy's riding looks like loads of fun and i can imagine myself doing some of it. tarres is amazing rider and the shit he does looks nuts and not a lot of fun. attempting to ride erzeberg rodeo on t7 is impressive and doesn't look enjoyable. birchy's more flowing videos look fun and i think i might actually try that shit. since i own four ktm bikes, i'm probably biased anyway.

⁠@@miro_sThere’s a yellow message that comes up on the dash as he nears the stop of that hill climb in the beginning. That’s usually some kind of warning or notification that the bike needs maintenance. Which just means you need to reset the maintenance interval mileage on the dash.

Adds like these are so misleading. Unless you have earned pro level skills, the average endro rider who rides hard off-road is going to wad up his 890, and it's very expensive. I totaled my F800gs in a very minor off-road get off. These bikes are made to be light and fast, but not crash worthy. Crashing my WR-450f only makes the gouges in the plastics deeper. Don't fall for the illusion KTM is trying to sell you. If your goal is to ride like Chris Birch, get a dedicated endro and train 3-5 days per week.

You sound like a lot of fun at parties, sheesh. Anyone dumb enough to think buying a new 890 automagically gives them Chris Birch's skillset deserves what they get, but these bikes are in fact remarkably crash-worthy and crash more like a dirt bike than a street bike. Ask me how I know 😅 🤘
