Sky News host Andrew Bolt is stunned Climate Change Minister Chris Bowen is in charge of Australia’s electricity as he was “in total denial” over a report from the Australian Energy Market Operator.
“The Australian Energy Market Operator did, indeed, just warn that the danger of power blackouts and brownouts next summer just got even higher in Victoria and New South Wales because this supposed transition to wind and solar power … is not going anywhere as smoothly as Labor predicted,” Mr Bolt said.
“But Energy Minister Chris Bowen, today, was in total denial.
“I find it scary that this bloke is in charge of the nation’s electricity.”

Wholesale cost of electricity in australia is the same as canada. About 10c a kWh. Retail cost in australia is 45c a kWh average. Source AER website. Canada retailers mark up very little. In australia 450% This is the cause of power bill stress

Home solar cannot continue to be pushed back into the grid. As more do it it cooks the grid by pushing the voltage over 240v. Thats why each has to be connected through a smart meter to turn them all off remotely before they cook everybody's appliances.
