He is definitely arrogant. He talks a lot about his finances but not as much about what intrinsic qualities he brings to the table and how he can add value to a woman's life beyond just money. I think he thinks he's the prize. Men like that are immature, entitled, unfaithful and unkind. Just because he wants to be married doesn't mean he wants to be committed. Some men want to be married because they want stability at home (a wife to take care of the household) but still want to have relations with other women. Paige seems like a nice young woman. I see him as having the potential to derail her life and ruin her self esteem. I hope I'm wrong!

Let me tell you something, I think he's lying about his finances. He bought into a Subway franchise. I looked it up, and the franchise alone is $15K, then another $100K for set up. He had no money 2 years ago, right? Someone took a chance on him. It's average sales is $422,000 a year. He has to pay for the employees, unemployment tax, operating costs, supplies, plus paying off the bank loan. I bet, he would be lucky to come away with a fraction of that.

I actually know of Chris casually through some Christian events we both attended and all of his relationships have had quick engagements. He also has a type so I’m interested to see how this one plays out as physically she looks different than his previous partners. They have all been model types with similar features. Paige is beautiful, yet I’m not sure he is ready to be able to appreciate her beauty and all that she brings. He is looking to a certain type of lifestyle and appearance. We shall see... “Pastoring is not a job, it’s a calling.” Yes bro!!! Make it clear! And this misunderstanding is tied to what you shared pertaining to religiosity and not truly being born again. Seeing things through a carnal lens. That’s why we must walk in the Spirit.

@@l.curtis3677 I feel that Chris is still trying to discover who he is as a man. I met him 6 years ago at an event...he’s younger than I so I felt at that time that he still had some growing to do. I attended a conference he held back a few years ago to support his ministry and really felt that he was growing (he had a new girlfriend then and was talking about proposing, they did not work out). Shortly after that relationship he was sharing about sleeping in his car and his journey to becoming an entrepreneur. Seemed to be a stark contrast from his journey in ministry. To me I believe he is running from his true calling to live this persona/lifestyle. He is seeking a certain type of life, clothes, wife so I was shocked when I saw him as part of the cast for this show! I also am interested to see if his mom appears on the show because she does not strike me as one who would be into this seeing as she was there when he proposed to his ex-fiancé. Of course, take some time to feel out the romantic chemistry, see if you connect in terms of hobbies, and if you enjoy spending time together. However, I don't see anything wrong with asking a guy about what he is looking for and what he sees for his future if you are dating with a purpose. I typically ask within the first 3 weeks. Do you want to be a husband one day? Do you want to be a father one day? Do you have goals? Guys get scared and assume I'm asking about those things WITH ME. Not at all. I'm barely getting to know you. Those are deal breakers for me and I would rather find out now rather than 6 months in that you never want to be married or have kids. That would be such a waste of both of our times. I'm 26. I've known I wanted to be a mom one day since I was 18 and met my first niece. I'm dating men 28-35. You should know what you want for yourself by then. If not, we aren't for each other and that's ok.

this relationship seems like its going to be a trainwreck, too much, too fast, too soon. and they both want kids soon which to me seems like they will ignore red flags, and may not get to know each other first.

How long was Chris engaged for? It is problematic indeed.

He said he got engaged in February 2020 and then I’m not sure when the show started filming so it was a very short engagement

@@shicstayblessed7023Thank you. I wonder why pastor Call gave him the green light. Oh well, hope they work out. They are cute together.

i stopped watching that show since a lot of the couple end up annulled by the end. also this is weird because people switch up off screen. A couple of years, everything was roses with this couple and once the cameras went off, ole' boy was verbally abusive but on the camera, he was different. Its weird to be engaged then married at first sight like my dude, are u okay?

Dude your commentary is full of contradictions. Will these two come out like "Woody & Amani" or "Miles & Karen"? who knows. Both couples were a good example of relationship progression.

Where is the contradiction loool
@straightnochaser24503 жыл бұрын
@@LittleBlackBook91 Knowing and having a preference prior to marriage doesn't make you less Spiritual/Christian. It would be great if both women and men could be honest and open with each other about what they like or need before tying the knot. Both parties appear too have a mature thought process regarding financial independence. Meaning, they can focus more on the emotional connection needed in order to develop a mutually respectful relationship. Lack of or bad habits toward money tops the reason for divorce.
