lol fool really posted a fake stat . truly sad
@runningwithcat61956 жыл бұрын
And Russ also went 15 for 23 against Timberwolves. George and Melo didn't play well and their bench was worse than usual, which is quite surprising how their usual is pretty horrendous. If you actually watch the games, you can see that Russ, George and Melo aren't on the floor together all the time. They rotate. And when Russ is on the floor with one of the two, of course he will take many shots as the other three bench players can't score to save their lives (eye-hurting free throw % too), and the opponent knows that and forces Russ to take tougher shots, double him up and etc, then his shooting % goes low. Colin keeps bringing up these "fake" stats to belittle Russ, which is unfair. It's not that the team loses when Russ takes more shots; it's actually Russ taking more shots when the team is losing, and when the team is losing it's usually because Russ, George and Melo are all having tough nights and the bench sucks as usual, and the best scorer in that team in Russ, so they gotta go with him. Maybe Giannis needs to stop trying to score if we follow Collin's fake stats, because the Bucks are 8-8 when Giannis takes more than 22 shots. Kyrie too, because the Celtics are 1-4 when Kyrie takes more than 24 shots, and we're talking about a team with 34-10 record.
@user-yh3cy8tj1d6 жыл бұрын
Facts. People don't watch games. Russ is still having to average a triple double to compete. It's ridiculous
@nathancardenas27196 жыл бұрын
If you're still hating on lonzo at this point you need to start watching more basketball. His numbers across the board are very similar to draymond greens, and i have a feeling that lonzo is gonna be as valuable as green is to his team moving forward. He may not be that number 1 option superstar, but he'll be the glue that keeps that team together
@moegerms6 жыл бұрын
Boogie Queen - the glue that keeps the team together? That would be Kuzma. Who says all the right things to thr press and does all the right team things on the court. Lonzo will never be the engine or the driving force of a team. This is talking strictly intangibles not talent.
@FiRe247106 жыл бұрын
mallexjansen lmao clearly you’ve not watched the last 10 games if you think kuzma is the glue of the team.
@nathancardenas27196 жыл бұрын
AA Sharp umm lonzo is the best defensive player on this team. He also led all pointgaurds in blocks and averages multiple steals a game. He may not be all first team yet, but he's on his way. And in terms of stats, draymon and lonzo are almost identical for the year. And lonzos "broken shot" has seen a climb in efficiency the past 15 or so games.
@lamasizzy05996 жыл бұрын
mallexjansen Kuzma? Wtf 😂 Kuzma is gonna be an amazing scorer and he says all the right things but he ain’t the driving force of the team. Lonzo creates for his teammates, plays defense, and rebounds better then any of his teammates. He is the best player on the Lakers. Just because he can’t score doesn’t mean he isn’t the best. Look at Ben Simmons. The dude can’t shoot but is still great. Not just that but he was hurt last year so he had an extra year to prep for the NBA.

People need to watch the games. Lonzo Ball's court awareness is amazing for a guy his age. His defense is way underrated. The Lakers offense looks so much different when he's out there. People look at the win/loss column, but don't look at the actual games. And they are the same people who complain about Lavar being ignorant.

Colin is making the common mistake all casual sports fans make. And that’s just relying on the Numbers and stats. If you watched Lebron James where he averaged 21/6/5/2 on 46% it was SENSATIONAL. You saw this kid come straight out of high school at 18 and DOMINATE grown men. Lonzo doesn’t deserve to be compared to arguably The GOAT in Lebron James. Stop looking st numbers. Lebron at 18 was light years better then 21 Lonzo will be

Clarkson lead the team to two game winning streak, leads the lakers to win vs Charlotte when Luke gives him the right treatment. Then bench him that cause the losses... of course Luke benched him, he doesnt want any reason to keep him at that level because Lonzo is the future. Its stupid to trade him even if he wasnt having a good season. He is on a rookie contract, just be patient. yeah I guess your right but in the OKC vs rockets series when he passed in the first three quarters and got everyone involved it was a close game and in the 4th he shoots 20 shots and they get blown out

Trial and error, Russ is not perfect hopefully he learned that he needs his team all game. But also, OKC last year was terrible with him on the bench. What ever lead they had when he left, was gone when he came back in the forth; So that is a trigger that makes him shoot like that.
