Omg! I never write reviews let alone sit and listen to a video almost 2 hours long! I am 34 and I grew up on Chris Brown. I was a huge fan back then but I really haven't listened to much of his new music but it's crazy I still consider myself a HUGE fan of CB. I love how genuine and humble he is. Out of all of the interviews I've seen he's down throughout his career, this has been the only one where he's not fidgety but calm and enjoying being interviewed! Most importantly, the reason I wanted to write this interview is because I am watching 2 big brothers showing how much they want to protect this young man at all cost. I see 3 brothers, not friends! It melted my heart to see the love, the positivity surrounding him, and grown men being actually grown men and OG's to a brother. We need more of this on the scene to show our younger black men how to protect each other at all costs! Y'all really got Chris out here having his first real interview comfortable in his own skin. He appears so happy, healed and still growing as an artist and human! Keep it up fam! ❤

I watched this halfway months ago and came back today to fully listen and it was nice to relive his journey with him. I want to say to you young man that I agree with Valentine, smile as much as possible, you deserve to enjoy your world. You have given us great music. The mom in me is so proud of you. My daughter, nieces, and cousins are definitely TEAM BREEZY. If Mr. Jackson was around today just know he would have given you a few songs, invited you on his and definitely grooved with you. He would be proud of you and enjoy that people compare you to him. You know that you are great. Enjoy that fact.

Chris is closing in on becoming legendary. He's playing chess with the music industry. He owns all of his masters. His nationwide tours sell out within the first week. He spends too much time focusing on U.S. industry acceptance, which is quickly interrupted by bringing up the Rihanna situation. If he focuses on overseas touring for a few years, inevitably he will sell out international tours, because no other artist can match his performances (which is why he sells out State-side). Once international sells increase, his streaming will increase, as well as his popularity, outside his fan base. The U.S. is a jealous nation. So the entertainment industry will pay him handsomely to refocus on the U.S. market. And I hope he TAXES THE HELL out of all the companies, sponsors, award shows, media interviews, music artists, executives, etc. who fronted on him for the past 15 years. "Yesterday's price is not today's price" His legendary recognition status within the U.S. music industry is inevitable. He will be revered an proclaimed by executives in the music industry, as the next age Michael Jackson when it's all said and done. Those of us who love his music have already know regardless of the hate he receives.... he's been the King of R&B for a long time

@getemgirl2126 ай бұрын
He is definitely an Usher fan. I've only seen Chris once in life. It was around 2004 at an Usher tour after party at the Bowery in NY. He didn't belong there because he had to be about 15, and it was openbar, but he was chilling by himself and a body guard. I knew who he was because I worked in the industry, but at that time, it was still extremely early... no one acknowledged him and he just stayed out the way. 20 years later, that memory still sticks in my head. I still see him as that innocent 15 year old. ❤
