Chris has a much better midsection. Martin had a very distended abdomen. I understand it about size but that SHOULD NOT be the sole criteria. The overall package should factor in MORE. Chris looked like he was cruising during posing, whereas the other guys looked spent! How can that not be part of the overall package?

That's a fair result, because Martin beats Chris in the open class even with the added weight, while Chris would beat Martin in the classic division with the weight cap and different judging criteria.

It's very obvious why he won, he'd been training for open for the whole year and chris has been training for open for 3 weeks. Chris was better in my opinion, but everyone there knew that Martin deserved it purely because of the time he put into specifically the open competition when Chris was training for classic.

It was a close 2nd. Chris is a potential top 5 open Olympian as of NOW. He can make history, but if he is the man he seems to be, he will not compete anymore. If he does manage to lay aside his ego, he's a far more mature man than one could think.

Cbum surpassed them all. Stellar line and proportions, unparalleled. He had to win, as everyone seemed right, because of the 4 judging criteria 3 were his: proportions, condition and presentation. Martin more mass in some parts, but this is not enough to win a race. Cbum has the complete package. Also, nobody understood that idiot Weiberger's management of confrontations: why the fuck do you keep one in the middle for the whole race and let the other two spin?

Finishing 2nd at a huge show in his open debut with only weeks to prep and add size. That's an outstanding accomplishment. It isn't fair as well to Martin just because Cbum is much more famous that Martin winning is actually overshadowed by Cbum taking 2nd.

Mass is the biggest part why martin won,, he is thick but a lil flat for me,, cbum pyhsics is more of a classis built..but overall cbum did a empressive job.. cbum needs 2-3 years to bulk up safely, to match with mass mosters in open class..

nah man. prejudging maybe but not in finals. many reasons for this but just look at martins side shots aswel as back shots. then look at his mass and symmetry compared to chris conditioning isnt everything. dauda is mr O after all and he didnt come in that conditioned right?

@FinalCurse CBum side tricep was better. Symmetry and structure goes to Chris, as well as conditioning and hardness. Also Cbum is tall and impressive. Not short. Bodybuilding must be about to be the perfect BODY. Not the perfect ballon.

@FinalCurse As for Samson, he won because of his structure. He is not a short guy, and overall deserved it more than the two short guys. Better structure than them. By the way i think Samson must level up his conditioning. A great structure must develop in everything.
