Vito Acconci and Chris are two artists I've looked at a lot. I guess Paul McCarthy is up there as well. It was a pleasure to watch something recent like this on him. Great piece.

these "commercials" were something to see when they would infrequently air. my friends and I followed the work of Chris Burden in the early 7t's and would attend the "live" events he put on. the late 6t's and early 7t's were the apogee of art experimentation. don't know if there is an equivalent today?

I was a big fan of Chris Burden after I saw an exhibit of his decades ago in Newport Beach. Now I know he is a god.

This was the exhibit that was shut down because the entry turnstyle was supposedly rigged to apply increasing pressure on the Museum building - likely threatening the stability and safety of the occupants.
