Chris Carlson, Ten Years of Borderlands Granular.

Chris Carlson is a software developer and musician based in Richmond, Virginia. He has spent the past ten years creating interactive works for cultural institutions and brands including the National Archives, the Denver Botanic Gardens, Epson, SFMOMA, T-Mobile, and others. Carlson is also the creator of Borderlands Granular, a visual interface for granular synthesis that allows users to explore sounds within sounds. Borderlands was honored with an Award of Distinction in Digital Music and Sound Art in the 2013 Prix Ars Electronica and has been presented by the ZKM Center for Art and Media and Sónar Festival.

Amazing app. Pretty sure I met this guy in SF at a Touch the Gear event 5-6 years ago where I had Borderlands running through modular

🌞 Where can we find the diagram or map that shows the pattern that each grain moves in? Please for the next new features for the app: - Increase the adjustable duration to a few minutes for each grain. - Manually position each grain anywhere inside the XY axis. - The option to open the app with the last display and wave files that was in use.
