I just get so frustrated every time Chris criticizes fanart. He's literally always done it, from the very first fanart he received. He just doesn't have it in him to be grateful for the fact that people want to go out of their way to draw art of him and his characters. I can also confirm that it is painful to be self-aware and autistic. I know my voice will pitch high when I'm nervous or excited, and I hate it because i can't control it. I do feel bad for Chris, because it sucks trying to fit into a neurotypical society; even before the pandemic, I basically stopped going out, because I was always uncomfortable, and unlike Chris, I'm hyper aware of how my awkwardness makes other people uncomfortable in turn. I think the difference is with Chris, is that he either lacks empathy as part of a different diagnosis (maybe sociopath when you look back on his history of pet ownership), or Barb and Bob crushed it out of him as a kid.

I'm high functioning autistic, it was caught early on and I got occupational therapy after some time no one ever knows I have Autism spectrum disorder. In quite the opposite people tell me that I'm so smart and interesting but I'm not, I have almost no original thoughts only drastic reformation of others thoughts and my knowledge is just compartmentalized trivia, I'm simply a xerox collage of normalcy in a neat package. Even repairing something inherently neurological can't fix the physiological weight of knowing that you were born damaged, inherently wrong off the bat and you are just the desperate effort to reset to normalcy. Flowers for Algernon is a good example of being an impostor among men and the weight of knowledge and the hatred of ignorance, it's not as extreme in the novels case but imagine explaining empathy to a 8 year old or forcing a child to touch styrofoam for sensory purposes or spending weeks teaching facial expressions and recognition and how to lace shoes for the end product to be average.

See, this is why I don't have any sympathy for Chris. It's pretty obvious to me he's trying to buddy up to Cole now with the whole 'Barb was wrong about a bunch of things' thing he did here. I think he's finally fed up with her - there's a quiet but definite resentment to the way he treats her (see how dismissive he was after her message?). If I had to guess, he is turning on her so he doesn't feel any guilt when she dies, while also trying to find other people in his life to leech off of once she does. He can act really dumb and inept but that's rarely the case: he knows what he's doing. Case in point, look how quickly he dissects his own mental state as Sonichu (when he's talking about all the useless pop culture quotes and trivia looping on repeat in Chris' head). I'd also wager that I Love Lucy is getting a lot of airtime in the Chandler household, because he's been referencing the Vitameatavegamin bit a LOT lately. Also: Hope you feel better soon dude. I had COVID a few months back myself and it wasn't fun.

Also about Chris chan: Many are saying that he isn't a "real" transgender and I saw many surprised when genosamuel changed the pronouns for Chris chan saying she and her instead of he. Many me including think this was just Chris chan thinking that in order to get a "gal pal" that he should've become a woman due to his own delusion and the fact that Chris chan seems to have loathed the fact that he was born a man because he could never get a girl friend. Genosamuel obviously changed it because legally chris is a woman and as to not offend anyone. It's harmless to me as long as people don't entertain chris chans delusions and it's really just out of respect to not be rude. It's just ironic coming from a former Christian and person who seemed to dislike people like yhat. Man imagine if his dad saw him now. Must be spinning in his grave.

If you want to get technical about it (and I'm no expert on the subject, but anyway...), Chris Chan isn't really transgender because he hasn't transitioned and more than likely has some form of gender dysphoria or something like that. Then again, Chris Chan is legally a woman, so I don't know. It's not true for everybody, obviously, but there are some people who are religious or formerly religious who are/were only religious that have various issues in regards to their sexuality or whatever. Chris Chan's earlier religious conservatism could be seen as a reaction to/against a certain part of himself. Bob was against the crossdressing and Tomgirl stuff, so I don't think he'd be too happy with Chris as he is now.

Chris has consistently tried to make himself into a "special snowflake" for attention throughout the years. This doesn't seem any different. Another note, not all transgender people transition; usually due to medical fear/costs. GRS is expensive, and bottom surgery doesn't have a high success rate. Also, trans isn't strictly mtf or ftm, nonbinary people are also under the umbrella of the term trans. They might not undergo GRS, like in the case of a genderfluid fem-presenting+agender person. Also... Chris's belief that he is trans is based off of his wildly inaccurate and stereotypical understanding of the binary genders, which, as Geno and Gibi have said, he gets from cartoons. At best, Chris has Body Dysmorphia, which is similar to Dysphoria, but is distinctly different. Sorry this is long, I just wanted to point that out :)
