I'm surprised he lived into his 40s, but it is true that both Barb and Bob lived long lives and passed that genetics to Chris. Chris has the potential to live another 40 years. The biggest thing in the way is his heart, Bob had heart issues and even though Chris had the gift of knowing about potential heart issues in his genetics, he still does a bunch of stuff that would put a lot of strain on his heart.

I'll just explain the Chaos Emerald shit because this is absolutely 100% the most important part of the play and Christory. In Sonic canon, there are seven Chaos Emeralds. In the spinoff Sonic the Fighters, there are eight because that's how many playable characters there are in it. This is the only instance of there being eight, and yet some people are insanely hung up on it. With Chris' obsession with fiction being reality, this could just be their way of explaining what happens in a spinoff. The Master Emerald is not one of the Chaos Emeralds. Just think of it as the super powerful god jewel that controls them all. In the movie, the Chaos Emeralds are created from the Master Emerald. Another instance of Chris trying to justify different interpretations of something that doesn't fit their liking. Jesus was a Sonichu.

While it's certainly an eloquently put thought, it's more commonly believed that Jesus was quoting the Old Testament, specifically his ancestor, King David. The ultimate purpose of the verse being that even in times of strife, God is still there, even when you can't feel his presence.

I always thought Chris had the mental age of a 12-year-old. Lately, he's been acting more like an 8-year-old, which kinda feels like an insult to 8-year-olds because I've seen kids act better than him. For anyone who cares, to fill in the Sonic lore where Gibi got confused. Chris Chan is stating there are 8 Master Emeralds, 8 Chaos Emeralds, and one Ultimate Emerald that split to make the aforementioned Chaos Emeralds. This statement from Chris is incorrect. In Sonic lore the Master and Chaos Emeralds are magical multipurpose macguffins that are important to the story, there is one singular Master Emerald and 7 Chaos Emeralds. Chris is trying to rationalize some inconsistences between sonic media and personal misunderstandings he's had with sonic media through the statement of 8 of each and a new type of emerald. Games such as Sonic Fighters feature an additional 8th Chaos Emerald but this is simply a mistake because a different team than normal worked on that game. In Sonic 3 & Knuckles 7 Super Emeralds which are powered up versions of the original Chaos Emeralds are present and they are of comparable size to the Master Emerald, Chris has seemingly misunderstood that these are the Chaos Emeralds transformed to be larger and more powerful and are not an entirely new set of emeralds. Lastly in the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie, which takes place in a separate continuity from the games, the Chaos Emeralds instead of existing alongside the Master Emerald are instead what forms the Master Emerald. The Master Emerald later shatters and becomes the Chaos Emeralds again before reforming at the end of the movie. Chris is unable to separate the continuities and had to make up an Ultimate Emerald in order to allow for both continuities to be correct. Real Sonic lore (the games canon) establishes that the Master Emerald has existed on Sonic's World since the earliest known point in the timeline, what created it is unknown. The Chaos Emeralds are not native to Sonic's Planet instead having been brought there by a spacefaring race called the ancients when they fled their homeworld. This lore was revealed in Sonic Frontiers, the most recent Sonic game, which Chris has not finished. He will likely be mad the same way he was at Pokémon Scarlet and Violet for contradicting his own personal lore.

It's another, ginormous Emerald that holds special mystical powers and essentially works as a counter to the Chaos Emeralds, if I got that right. The Master Emerald generally keeps Angel Island afloat in the sky, was used in the past (as presented in Sonic Adventure) to contain the water being known as Chaos, and in Sonic 3 and Knuckles, it's able to turn the Chaos Emeralds into Super Emeralds.

Grew up in a Christian faith and while not as active as I used to be I still hold onto a lot of the beliefs of my religion. And Gibi makes an amazing point about the crucifixion of Christ. And to sort of expand on the story before of the event the night before Christ is taken to Jail he prays and bleeds from every pore with each drop of blood being a human sin. Then before he is hung on the cross he is wiped, made to wear a crown of thorns, and to carry the cross he will be hung on. This is the most perfect human being to ever walk the earth and depending on your faith the son of God. Being beaten down so badly that he cries out to see if God is still there. So to see Chris not only dumb it down to such a simple and nonchalant inconvenience. But to essentially make it about him churns my stomach. The Christian side of me is enraged. While the rest of me feels nothing but pity for the sad state this poor husk of a human is. Many people and many systems failed him throughout his life. I’ll never excuse what he has done. But some small part of me really can’t help but feel pity. He’ll never have a normal life. He’ll never have real meaningful relationships with anyone. He will grow old and die with no one to mourn him. The only funeral services will be archive Channels and Christorians going over the highlights of his shenanigans. He will spend the rest of his days in his delusions. Because he would never be able to handle the reality that is his life.

Minor correction There are Seven Chaos Emeralds in Sonic lore (Only one of which is actually green despite them being emeralds) They came from space and were used by The Ancients (Chaos' people) who devolved into Chao when their Emeralds starting interacting with the Master Emerald on Sonic's World (which keeps changing names.. right now they just call it Earth but it was Sonic World and Mobius before that) So no its not that one of the Seven Chaos Emeralds is a Master Emerald. They are two separate things entirely.. though the Master Emerald has the ability to control the Chaos Emeralds and no one really knows why since the Chaos Emeralds are from space and all. Why is Chris talking about 8? In the arcade spinoff Sonic The Fighters, each character has a Chaos Emerald and they fight each other for the rest... but since there are 8 fighters the game shows 8 Emeralds, with the 8th being orange (also described as gold) This is a one off oddity though currently the IDW comics (which unlike the Archie comics are canon) is doing a four part "Fang The Hunter" miniseries that aims to explain away the 8th Emerald

One of the best interpretations of they story of the crucifixion I've ever heard was a concept album by a german band called Grave Digger on their The Last Supper release in 2006. The story is told through the eyes of jesus as he presides over the last supper, prepares for his execution and is ultimately put to death. The common thread of all the songs is the feeling of intense apprehension and confusion jesus experiences before he's crucified as he's questioning his faith right up to the moment of his death on the cross, then with his dying thoughts he admits to himself that he does have faith in god too resurrect him after the "100 days" and the story ends with the prophesy being fulfilled.
