For chris these old grudges are pretty much all he has left. Much like how Al Bundy's life peaked on the high school gridiron when he was 17 and scored three touchdowns in one game chris's life seems to have peaked when he was 16/18 year old and could get away with being a creepy loser because people felt sorry for him and he even had those pity friendships that were never really true friendships. I would argue that chris's entire life has been nothing but a slow decent into a deep trough because he realized sometime after high school ended that no one actually liked him then and no one really wants to like or be around him now either.

I wonder if he's done this cause he's given up slowly looking for a sweetheart and retreats into his fantasy world further which is all he has left. Honestly I used to laugh at and make fun of Chris-Chan. Now he just makes me feel sad. Like he's just a broken human being. I know that there are artist that love their characters, but not in the way that Chris means. Its more of a respect of what the character has done for people of the fandom or what the character symbolizes/means to the creator.
