Even towards the very end The Late Chrissy Amphlett still had it. I saw her in The Divynyls back In January 1986 and December 1987, and she and her band were brilliant. R.I.P.

West Oz Rocker - Actually I was thinking Chris Cheney could take over from Keith and Ronnie his guitar is brilliant, unfortunately Keith and Ronnie sound a little too flimsy and thin for my liking. Rather than sitting in for Mick, Chrissie and Mick could have one hell of a duet with Chris providing that great guitar pumping this Stones classic along beautifully.

A legend in the flesh that would be gone much, much too soon. Chrissy shows that she's definitely got what it takes to steal everybody's heart with a memorable performance. Love the way she wants to instinctively cut in with some gorgeous harmony at 1:09. They probably rehearsed a bit, if at all, and winged it for the most part with epic results. Kinda wish she had recorded more covers like this one as well as her own material...oh well. Chrissy was dealing with the symptoms of MS which would finally be confirmed with a diagnosis Jan 2006 only a short time after this appearance.

JohnnyMFan...Yeah, a real kickass performance and always fun to revisit. I think this would be toward the end of 2005 with Chrissy coming back to Australia to promote the release of her autobiography. The show is called RocKwiz and it featured an amazing house band plus featured guests from the top ranks of Aussie talent. Chris Cheney is ranked among the best in the world and plays his Gretsch like a man possessed. Check out his version of Helter Skelter. His band The Living End had a self titled album that was #1 on the ARIA album charts. They're punkish but execute with amazing technical skill and imagination and a double bass....not something you see in many punk bands. You might want to check out ''Prisoner of Society'' and ''All Torn Down''. I've only just begun to explore this band and it may not be everybody's cup of tea but I kinda like what I hear.
