They’re amazing, my patriots lasted me 6 weeks and don’t have one hole that goes all the way through which is insane for me considering the tyshawns lasted me 5 weeks.

Having skated these multiple times, I love this shoe. Then again, just about every fallen shoe I've skated recently has been too notch. As a die hard vulc guy for many years, what you said about the cup sole is true, but it's starting to feel more comfortable than a vulc. With the new fallens, this shoe especially, I wouldn't skate them straight out the box. If possible, use them as chillers for a bit & purposely bend the shit out of them lol. If not, some work with a heat gun/blow dryer can help. These last really long & besides it being supper stiff at first, I have no complaints. Definitely skating another pair in the future

Can you tell me more about them? I have a pair of the fiend's but I can't get used to em, the fact that tongue is stuck in place with an elastic band makes it hurt my upper foot. Are all the ones you've tried the same?

Love the Trooper reissue. For Fallen I recommend true to size for the vulc models and half a size up for the cupsoles.

To answer your question about heights over 5ft they're one of the best choices you can make for flying downstairs. Me and my friends grew up in the time period of jumping gaps, stairs and handrails in the early 2000s I graduated high school as a pro skateboarder in 2010 and fallen was my shoe of choice I was sad to see them go under. The new trooper is very similar to the former slimline trooper it feels almost exactly the same and I've skated about 20 copies back in the day and two recently

So I’ve been skating this shoe for a little over a month, and I didn’t like it at first, but man I’m glad I kept using them, took me about 3 sessions to break them in, but once they were they felt great, the shoe is very grippy, which I like, and super durable, the only exception is the laces will tear, but just put some super glue on the and you’ll be fine, after about a month I have yet to tear through anything yet, the heel is close, but the toe cap still has a ways to go, this shoe is very sturdy and secure, and I really liked that feeling compared to other vulc or thinner shoes, makes me feel more confident in my tricks

I’m really curious to see an éS Accel OG and an Accel Slim get cut up in a comparison because I love the OGs but really don’t like the Slims. The sole on the Slims seem hella thin and wound up hurting my feet 😕

The original insoles for the Accel Slims are trash. They didn’t provide support or protection, plus the sole is quite thin. As the poster above me stated, all éS Accel Slims come with Energy Foam insoles now. I’m going to buy a pair when the weather is a bit nicer.

@@ianturnbow7011 I’m actually using those insoles in my current pair of Accel OGs as the stock ones are hardly even insoles at all hahahaha they are quite nice I must say. I do still want to try some footprint insoles eventually though...for now these Energy Foam ones are doing well enough 😊 Maybe I’ll give the slims another shot as the last time was with the old trash insoles though!

You know it’s awesome that your review of the Tyshawn’s when they first came out, the green ones, and I’ve bought those and 7 other pair since then! Just got the new Knicks colorway of them in white leather and they’re just as sick as my green pair from back in the beginning of skating them! Perfect shoe all around, and an excellent review of them! Love all your reviews, very fair and entertaining and you show yourself using them just like all the rest of us skating them. Bro the difference between cup and vulc is cupsole has a thicker midsole so it was good for impact and stuff and vulc has a thin midsole so your foot is sitting in midsole.
