Wasted all of that and never looked back. Had a breakup coming year and left gym completely. Today, I'm still perfectly fit with no gym for prolly 6+ years and those who were on roids in my gym either looks bad as possible or no longer alive. Some people like me were lost their whole twenties, had tiring jobs in restaurants to pay for their studies, messed up a few years changing their degree. They struggled to find a job afterwards and their stress eats them. I could only start at 32 years old. But again my responsibilities with long hours make me go in and out of the gym. I would never take steroids. I’d rather accept the result of my natural bulking. These guys are impatient or started late and want to be something they could not be due to their jobs or because they’re old. They also want to take more kgs in a year. I gradually came up to 80 kgs but I worked out since I was 17 but not continuously as said earlier. Before that I swam and did pushups. These guys made their choice it’s true. But when I see these small guys already on sth in your video…. I find it stupid and ridiculous….and stupid. I hope they’ll be professionals at least. Yesterday I saw a very sad scenario that I don’t wish on anyone. A man in his late 40’s in a hospital room, after having a stroke, and his wife next to him. This guy is my husband’s buddy from his men’s Bible study group, and we went to visit him at the hospital. His poor wife was by his side taking care of him, cleaning the drool and the tears off his face, because right now he can’t move his arms good enough for that. Yesterday he was finally mumbling, last week he wasn’t even able to talk. The nurse was telling him that he needs to start practicing swallowing his saliva again, while he still has the tube of the tracheotomy attached to his neck. Thank God this couple doesn’t have kids, if they did, the kids would probably be high schoolers by now, or even older. It really broke my heart, and I started crying when we left the hospital. I made my husband promise that we would start to exercise more and eat healthier, because I don’t think I can be as strong as that woman and see the man I love go through all that. That’s to avoid the normal risk of heart disease or stroke, without even adding steroids, and increasing that chance - especially at a younger age. My husband’s friend is a healthy guy, healthy weight, he used to run daily. Like Will said, your priorities will change as you get older. Right now you don’t have a partner and you want to look strong and fit, but when you find that someone (because you will), then you won’t want to die early and leave them alone. Even worse, if you increase your chances of disease, you will likely have a lot of health complications that your loved one(s) will have to endure with you, before you whither away. It’s not like the young man said, that you live healthy until your 70, instead of dying of old age at 90. Chronic diseases eat up your quality of life, one day at a time. Not worth it, guys.

"Just workout and eat, it's literally that simple" - Love ihat. It really comes down to working out for health vs. working out for aesthetics. Both can be achieved naturally, the difference is time.
@notimportant36864 ай бұрын
it's that simple FOR SOME people, i responded extremely well to lifting when i was younger, but i saw waaaaaaaaay too many people who didn't respond well to training and i could totally see them getting on steroids just to see SOMETHING happen to their body
@rob-time4 ай бұрын
@@notimportant3686 I agree that everyone is different, but I also say that everyone needs to find what works for them. I'm 61 and have been working out inconsistently my whole life. Only NOW am I seeing progress because I am being more consistent with minimal workouts and better nutrition. My goal is to be healthy first, the benefit of that is looking great. I look better now than I ever have. In my younger years I was tempted by steroids because I wasn't willing to put the work into it as much as it required, but never crossed that line. I still think, "Should I? I probably won't live long enough to suffer the side effects, but it could kill me faster".

"Just workout and eat" is great advice to look like Kyriakos Grizzly. The amount of mental energy needed to spend on food restriction alone is like 90% of bodybuilding.
@Thefrontier66144 ай бұрын
@@notimportant3686Nah its like that for all people. Were all human beings with potential and limitations. Calories in vs calories out. Move more eat less it really is very simple. Quality of food also matters. Eat better

Absolute legend with this video mate. The amount of people you've swayed into not doing PEDs with this thought provoking social analysis is life-changing, as I'd say the majority of people considering likely are impulsive in nature and don't really think about/probably ignore the long-term/cons. Your message at the end was chef's kiss.

Good on you will for being an influencer that’s honest about steroids, and honestly crazy that most of these ppl are thinking about the really insignificant consequences like hair loss and acne but not the life threatening consequences. Having no ambitions of professional bodybuilding and risking your life simply to look better will always be an insane choice for me that people make

shoutout to the 1 guy at 18min who talked about not wanting to cheapen his achievements. Nothing compares to the confidence, discipline, self-respect, and character that's built from putting in the work yourself and not relying on something else to do it for you.

hit the nail on the head 🎯, it's why I've never considered taking steroids, A) because of the potential health issues B) because I'd rather work hard at something and know I earnt it rather than taking the easy route, I would never be satisfied doing that
