I have sang this song at least 100 times this past year after his passing and it never get old or fails to move me, it has such powerful emotions and soul searching lyric makes you ponder your death and the thoughts of waiting on the Resurrection patiently lying still like a stone. Just pure musicianship, Chris has stood the test of time like all the best...not the Idols that don't make it past their contract. Cooke took Cornell's arrangement of Billy Jean by M.J. and at the time it was still kinda underground. Cooke used the internet as a tool to win on the Idol stage but where is he now? Chris Cornell was not offended at all by Cooke, in fact he praised him as he did Pearl Jam and others. Chris Cornell is a class act.
