Demons can't be "fought" when they aren't of your own creation. Not always. Sometimes they're external people whom hold some sort of something over your head. It's the pressure people cave under - and if they don't, they're crushed by it if some external force is bearing down on them.

He's simply not there. He was a poor, brave and gentle soul. Never a controversy. Never a bad intention. Truly missed.

Just remember folks, addiction and mental illness don’t discriminate. They are ugly and evil and they kill. I was lucky enough to over dose more than once and survive. Today my life is better, people like Chris and Chester carried me through the worst times of my life. I’m here and I pray to god every day that maybe I can give back just enough to try and spare others from the same fate. For all that have lost the good fight, Rest In Peace and thank you for the beauty you left behind

Not to knock on any other bands, because I've done it before, and it is hard to do night after night... but so much respect to Chris for hitting all of his notes, no matter how high and how hard. How many times have you seen a band live and been so disappointed when they drop down an octave on your favorite part of each song??!! Chris sang each note as intended, with so much raw and beautiful power behind every breath. Truly... "No one sings like you anymore"....

This video breaks my heart. My late husband had that same look in his eyes right before he died. Addiction to pain pills drains you until you just can't anymore. God bless and keep Chris's wife and children ❤️

Pearls of swine bereft of me Long and weary my road has been I was lost in the cities Alone in the hills No sorrow or pity for the leaving I feel (chorus) I am not your rolling wheels I am the highway I am not your carpet ride I am the sky Friends and liars don't wait for me I'll get on all by myself I put millions of miles Under my heels And still too close to you I feel (chorus) I am not your rolling wheels I am the highway I am not your carpet ride I am the sky I am not your blowing wind I am the lightening I am not your autumn moon I am the night!!!!!! Rest in peace chirs Cornell,!!!
