I was lucky to experience this show live from the front row at the time. I was 19 years old then and now I'm almost 40. At that time the song touched me, today I understand and feel it.❤ R.I.P Chris

Na, both are equally good. I like the variations sometimes - other times bands ruin their own songs. This one, is good both methods. And that's great when experimentation succeeds that way. I think it's how you know you have a great song - you can sing it almost any way and it's still good to listen to.

Demons can't be "fought" when they aren't of your own creation. Not always. Sometimes they're external people whom hold some sort of something over your head. It's the pressure people cave under - and if they don't, they're crushed by it if some external force is bearing down on them.

I dont even know what to write. Chris Cornell spoke for so many of us going through issues with mental health or self confidence. He was an advocate for the weak and misguided. He inspired so many of us to reach out and explore the possibilities of our dreams and wishes. To be better humans than we though we were capable of being. I for one will always have his music and message be a part of my life and my sons life. Im just upset that he could not beat his own demons or didnt have that person in his life that gave him the same inspiration. RIP Chris Cornell you are Legend. Brother we love you and your Ohana.

With the lost of my father still weighing on me and struggling through detox from opiate addiction. This video brings me to tears every time I watch it - the pain in Chris's voice. The struggle to perform despite being exhausted. RIP My friend - You've helped me and many others through some very rough times.

I’m a recovering opiate abuser because of 4 hip Replacements and have dealt with insomnia issues for the past year along with battling anxiety and depression. So I just found this song and I can so relate to this man’s lyrics because I get it all. When your in constant pain 24/7 no matter if weather it body or your brain you become exhausted with life. Depression is no joke !!!! Anyways I just felt like sharing and hope things are looking up for you ✌️

The emptiness cannot be explained, it is just felt. There is no guilt, there is no cause. It's inside you, about not fitting into the system, it gets stuck, you don't understand. I think there is a lack of strength to compete, to collaborate, to absorb. It's undermining... RIP Chris.

Just remember folks, addiction and mental illness don’t discriminate. They are ugly and evil and they kill. I was lucky enough to over dose more than once and survive. Today my life is better, people like Chris and Chester carried me through the worst times of my life. I’m here and I pray to god every day that maybe I can give back just enough to try and spare others from the same fate. For all that have lost the good fight, Rest In Peace and thank you for the beauty you left behind

Not to knock on any other bands, because I've done it before, and it is hard to do night after night... but so much respect to Chris for hitting all of his notes, no matter how high and how hard. How many times have you seen a band live and been so disappointed when they drop down an octave on your favorite part of each song??!! Chris sang each note as intended, with so much raw and beautiful power behind every breath. Truly... "No one sings like you anymore"....
