I remembering seeing him perform this song in 2009 in Tel-Aviv. He was introducing this song and saying it was written while he was in a really bad place. But that he's better now. Then he raised his hand and shouted ""I won!" to the crowd cheers. Really was a special moment. He was so happy then. I also remember his wife watching him from the left of the stage holding their baby. They looked so happy together and I thought how wonderful that she travels with him. After the show he and the band went to the side fence and just shook hands with everybody, it was a special night. R.I.P Chris. Missing you every day.

Its not even close when considering greatest singer/songwriter ever. Plenty of great songwriters but their voice doesnt compare to Chris pipes sent by god of rock, plenty of great vocalists, but did they write truly emotional, thought provoking lyrics and did they write all of the parts or just vocal melody or lyrics? Plenty of singer/songwriters with full career gr8 music, but did its scope cross genre boundaries? Did it involve multiple incarnations of differnt muscians? No. Its not even close.

I’ve known about Soundgarden for years and years (probably my whole life), but I didn’t start really paying attention to Chris Cornell until about a month ago. I remember asking my mom who he was on the day he died, I didn’t understand the emotional responses I was seeing from people. But now, a year after the fact, I feel a weirdly emotional connection to him as an artist and a deep curiosity towards him as a person, and I’m belatedly taking his death pretty hard. It feels unreasonably like someone close to me is gone, I can’t watch him in an interview or a music video without crying so hard I get a headache. I wish I’d had the chance to see him perform live.

That was because I was young and didn't understand that being relaxed means you'll most likely make it out of a car wreck. That's why drunk people mostly always live when they are drinking and driving. Lyrics Hello, I know there's someone out there who can understand And who's feeling the same way as me I'm twenty-four and I've got everything to live for But I know now that it wasn't meant to be 'Cause all has been lost and all has been won And there's nothing left for us to save But now I know that I don't want to be alone today So if you find that you've been feeling just the same Call me now it's alright It's just the end of the world You need a friend in the world 'Cause you can't hide So call and I'll get right back If your intentions are pure I'm seeking a friend for the end of the world I've got a photograph I'll send it off today And you will see that I am perfectly sane Not for a lifetime or forever and a day 'Cause we know now that just won't be the case Call me now it's alright It's just the end of the world You need a friend in the world 'Cause you can't hide So call and I'll get right back If your intentions are pure I'm seeking a friend for the end of the world There will be no commitment and no confessions And no little secrets to keep No little children or houses with roses Just the End of the world and me 'Cause all has been gone and all has been done And there's nothing left for us to say But we could be together as they blow it all away And we can share in every moment as it breaks Call me now it's alright It's just the end of the world You need a friend in the world 'Cause you can't hide So call and I'll get right back If your intentions are pure I'm seeking a friend for the end of the world Call me now it's alright It's just the end of the world You need a friend in the world 'Cause you can't hide So call and I'll get right back If your intentions are pure I'm seeking a friend for the end of the world Songwriters: Chris Cornell

No false idol human is "God". NONE. That's ridiculous. Fanaticism is dangerous and stupid when people with no talent or character are rewarded falsely with admiration - luckily, this guy deserves some. But that does not a "God" make.

Was 25 and had just ended a 10 year relationship with my high school sweetheart. It was the end of the world for me during this early phase of my life. I spent a lot of time with Cornell and Euphoria Morning getting through this. Can't say how much rougher it may have been without him. I'm sad that he's no longer with us but am thankful that he was for the time that we had him.

There's only a few celebrities deaths that actually made me cry. Chris is one of them. It was his music that got me into rock and alternative music the same way that Elvis or The Beatles got other people into music. His music got me through so many of lifes crazy situations I never thought he'd be leaving us so soon... R.I.P. Chris ❤❤❤

@@Dyscalculla why don't you review all the details of what happened. No one owes you producing "proof". You owe yourself dominion over your own perception of reality. His widow had him killed. That bodyguard killed him. Nevertheless, I want you to check this out. www.fluttergirl.com/journal/archives/00000330.html I've saved this page in my bookmarks for 15 years. search for the names "Morgan" and "superunknown" and check out the things they were saying about Vicky FIFTEEN YEARS AGO. The woman was bad news from the start. Her entire family is a crime syndicate. saying "please post proof" doesn't scare anyone child. Grow the courage to look at what you don't want to see.

@@dlynn101 first of all no need to be hostile. I was just asking for proof because I really want to believe he didn't do it. It hurts me to know that he was found dead this way, but everything pointed to the fact that he was not mentally well either. But if it was foul play I definitely would be open to hear that too. Be blessed and thanks for the info.

@@dlynn101 when you make an outrageous claim that goes against what everyone involved and every official report says, then yes, you are the one who needs to bring proof. No one needs to believe you if you have no proof (evidently, some people believe this theory despite there being no proof, but they shouldn't).

I so KNOW what u mean. I've been thru a life that most Cannot even imagine & felt @9yrs old that I was so done w all this. I'm an Empath. The strongest kind that are born, a pure Empath. I can feel all the energy of life around me, including ppl's. And when the negative is directed at me, I get super blown away, cuz we feel emotions so much stronger. But we/I are generally Very good souls. Very kind, strong, loyal, extremely loving & compassionate, wise & honest. I've learned so much on how to live thru all kinds of hell & continue on. I now just turned 46. If u are around, contact me on FB Messenger. My last name is Kmett. We can just talk. Let me see if I can guide u. I've been doing this my whole life & it is a pleasure. Love & Light to u.💗🌟
