His attitude about being a musician -- that everyone is equal, we all have a role -- is why he is so successful. He realizes that it's just his "job," it's not him, you know? He's amazing. Intelligent, talented, and kind. That's a winning combination.

@daddyrichten he struggled with depression and anxiety his entire life. His suicide saddens me but does not surprise me. His brother had a gag on him to not talk about mental illness. Ativan is dangerous for people struggling with depression.

What a Sad Loss to the world Chris's death was. Always remember seeing Soundgarden's Black Holed Sun video as a kid and as a Pink Floyd fan the whole psychedelic feel to it was eye catching, and his voice singing what was such a well written but most important to me was his Singing. It is Explosive on that record. It wasn't for years before I knew how long they had been a band and also the talent of the people he knew, two massive bands, RHCP & Pearl Jam. And to think he started behind a Drum Kit! Having grown and learning all about this and hearing his music, it just makes me sad to know Men are suffering in silence like him and as he said:" its only fame that people know this by"Such a sad loss for his family and friends. He must have been in a very dark place.😔 But what a singer he was. Such an Amazing Voice and range. Ad a solo artist or in any of the band's he was in, he was a Great Lead Singer who burned bright but went out to soon. God Bless. From Scotland 🏴

@fdakis13 жыл бұрын
@ShivaTheAuspicious I totally agree. As far as stage presence, flair, and showmanship, Dave and Steven Tyler (along with an UNBELIEVABLE voice) are the best in the business in my opinion. And you're right, Dave's tone is very distinct . If you hear a song with him or Eddie Vedder, most fans of the genre almost immediately know it's them.

I adore Chris Cornell and Sound Garden is one of my all time fave bands. However, Chrissy is fibbing here a bit. I saw him plenty of times, and for a lot of years very drunk and on other substances at many a performance. He was still awesome, I mean that voice is the best drunk or sober. I am glad for him that he has since cleaned up his act. Half the singers and musicians i know have some sort of substance abuse and manage to write, record and perform wonderfully. So, no judgement here on my part. I just thought that was funny when he said he did not write, etc.. while drinking. I guess everybody already knows this, but it made me laugh.We Love you Chris Cornell!

Chantel Paradis he said he didn’t share anything he wrote whilst drunk. Why don’t you go back and listen again. It’s quite evident that he didn’t like what he wrote while under the influence, he said anything he wrote was destroyed because he didn’t want anyone to see it.

I love Chris, but my boy Chris is always throwing shade at Kurt Cobain and Nirvana in so many interviews Ive watched. Not in this one though. He does it subtly but you can catch the shade. I love him, but in all honesty I noticed he never got over the fact that Nirvana was bigger than Soundgarden and that he came up third behind Pearl Jam. It just bothered him all throughout.

he's defiantly not humble, he's thinks he one of the best and may be he was in the grunge era, best looking at least but apart from the outstanding Euphoria Morning his solo work is kind of bland, there is the bond theme but l think that's just the words he wrote. Soundgarden however are still 1 of my fav bands
