By you only can guess from the many recordings he has going around, and specially interviews, there he names a book, that actually its quite enigmatic; specially the polymeters and polyrhythms in the few last pages, And listen to a lot of music he names in those interviews aswell, i was super fan of the sound of jack dejohnette, and chris names him as a strong influence in his own style, i can see that clearly, or hear, better said Dejohnette in an interview named Chris as influential aswell
