Die Übersetzung ist fehlerhaft und tendenziös: "Oh, my Bishop we must put them to the sword" heißt nicht "wir müssen den Krieg erklären" sondern "wir müssen sie mit dem Schwert erschlagen". "Bedeviled heathen" sind nicht "verteufelte Heiden" sondern "vom Teufel besessene Heiden". Eine eingängige und gut gemachte Popmelodie verbirgt einen widerlichen Song voller Hass und religiösem Fanatismus.

ja, man muss sich das Video nicht anschauen und man konnte sich auch bedanken, dass er alles so schön übersetzt hat und zwei Fehler, komm das Lied ist lang. zudem ist dies ein Lied mit Geschichte und erzählt die Wahrheit... ich selbst bin nicht gläubig aber ich finde es bemerkenswert was Leute mit ihrem glauben erreicht haben. und wo ist in dem Lied bitte Hass? es erzählt nur wie es war und sagt, dass es jetzt nicht mehr sein kann. als eigentlich ohne Emotionen, nur Erzählung, oder?
