69000 visualizaciones. Una canción como ésta y este artista. Una basura de hoy día tiene millones, y sólo 69000 aprecian algo así.

This song really bites me hard now all these years later... I got married at 29 and divorced at 34... We certainly had many dreams, and I do sometimes find myself longing for the good times we had in the early days... Neither of us cheated, and there was no bust-up or acrimony; the marriage simply "ran its course" - ultimately, we weren't right for each other, we were too different, and our divorce sadly had to happen - but even though she and I have both admitted since that we had both long fallen out of love with each other by then, it doesn't mean that I don't feel sorry for hurting my ex-wife by telling her I was no longer happy and didn’t know if, and how, it could be resolved, and she has told me felt really bad about hurting me by telling me to leave... It's a very painful experience, going through a break-up, regardless of what caused it, or who was (or wasn't) to blame... I think those of us who've gone through failed relationships / marriages that started well all look back and wonder if we could have prevented it, but - no matter how much you "try harder" - the simple reality is that if it isn't destined to last, then it won't last... That's why I love this song - the theme of separation, and the pain, anguish and remorse, really hit home...

Loved this song when it came out in 1992... After a few lean years from 1986, this was quite a return to form for Chris De Burgh. His album Power Of Ten that year was his best album since 1984, and IMO his last great album
