My aunt is a DEVOUT Catholic in Cleveland Ohio. The teamsters held a strike in the industrial park where my aunt worked. They didn't strike at her employer....but they blocked the whole entrance with the picket line. She called the local head of the union and basically said she was at his daughters christening is there anything he could do......her shops trucks got in and out and no elses moved. After that I always said my aunt was connected.....

Im like a year or two younger then chris. Im italian. My dad was a vietnam vet. A union teamster trucker driver. He never really told me about his past life but many times my mom told me my dad would be loading flak jackets with money and going to drop it off and pick up money. Once my mom got pregnant with me he changed his life drastically. He went completely legit and worked a regular job. But before that my dad was a wild guy. Most of those vietnam vets who came home all found work for certain families in bk and staten island. I was born 88 so ive witnessed some wild things. My cousin was born in 84 and his dad my uncle was also in a biker gang. Great times growing up in the late 80s and early 90s😂

my mother's side of the family was heavily involved in the bootlegging days, and some of my great uncles were even involved up until the late 90's; early internet days type scams. my great grandmother and my grandmother were roman/sicilian. as a teen my grandma would tell me stories about how she used to play cards with her brothers in mafia social clubs, she knew how dangerous the business was but she always knew she was safe because she was connected to the right people. she was never involved (as far as i know) but she absolutely knew, such a fascinating part of history.

Her husband did something. He said it himself. Is that hard to understand. And no, I'm not saying it's right, not glorifying a crime. But he said it himself, word for word. Father wasn’t in mob but I remember hearing stories about him. Parents were divorced before I started grammar school but once I got a little older kids in my school would come up to me and ask if my father has same name as me. I said yeah and they would say their fathers would tell them my dad was toughest guy in our town in Essex county NJ. Barroom brawler as a matter of fact. Once I got in my high school years I’d ask him why he didn’t go to the bars in our town and he said he was flagged in every one so had to go to neighboring town bars. Finally I lived with him for a bit when I was a senior in HS and one time I saw him laying on the couch with the couch against the frost door of apartment and a shot gun on his lap. Said it was in case the bookies showed up.

I grew up in the southeast US and befriended a few Brits when I went on a trekking excursion in Panama. So I vacationed in London one time and stayed in the East End. My friend took me up to watch a Tottenham match in a Tottenham pub. He was telling me how there had been riots there and that the spot we were in was a rough place. I'm 5'9 green eyed Welsh/Irish/Scot, (family came over about 1700) white man 50 yrs old, bald shaved head and weigh 220 lbs. I looked around the pub and most everyone looked like me. One drunk guy came over to our table saying there were no true fans in there and that he was the only true spurs fan in there. I said " I am a real fan..." Even though I don't know much about soccer. He goes "how is that?". I said "I flew from America for this match ...". He just howled with cheers and said" yes.....now that's a true fan......".....lol.

@@user-gu3ie not really, you can't just make insane claims and then put the burden on somebody else to prove it. For example I have a two headed dragon at home and my Dad is King Arthur, prove he isn't.

@@GeraldGruenigMedia1 an italian dude in the 70’s in the bronx being a mob associate isn’t that unbelievable though. I’m italian, grandpa & uncle, plus other family members were in the mafia. grandpa got murdered, same thing happened with the zero investigation process. uncle ran a “security” business. among east coast italians it’s very common to know a guy who’s at least associated. most aren’t made men.

Man you are obviously a funny guy in real life! You work in something boring and mundane and that’s okay. If you don’t and have some crazy career I apologize and meant to say sorry for whatever comedian smashed your girl back in the day.

@@unbiascowboy1537 being born, and raised on Staten Island, Chrissy’s father was none of those. He was a degenerate gambler that would’ve used his own son as collateral if he had the chance. These guys would get so desperate that they’d get the mob to lend them money. Chrissy is lying. Listen I get it. Podcasting his his livelihood. Never let the truth get in the way of a good story I guess, right?

Not saying his Dad wasn’t associated with “People in that life”, but he’s just ranting. He actually doesn’t know shit about what his Pops did. He’s trying to milk this for anything he can get out of it.
